If you dont like the skid flip but still want the strong reaction on the back end, put a little surface on it say 4000 or even 2000 for quicker pickup in the mids. I couldnt use mine out of the box but did put 4000 abralon on it and it smoothed the roll out while keeping the strong reaction and continuation on the back!..

How does one go about finding out what surface is on out of box on Global balls? Some of the other companies tell you right on the box.

 If it was that easy I wouldnt have asked in my post. The box says polished, but no where does it say what SURFACE it is.
