Title: Honey Badger Intensity

Another solid Honey Badger. This has the S70 coverstock where the Honey Badger Claw had the S71. The core is different though with the newer version having Grapnel 2.0 on the inside.

Which is also different than the Honey Badger Extreme Solid which featured the S74R coverstock with the original Grapnel core in a 3-piece construction.

Different shape down the lane then the Claw.  Will be stronger overall then the Claw and will be dynamically better in the lighter weights(the 2 piece Honey Badgers had a different reaction the lighter weights especially 14lbs).   I expect this to read the lane closer to the Extreme Solid but have more backend continuation. Compared to the Revival I would expect it to start up earlier and read the Mids a bit giving you the option of a ball you start a block with.

Absolutely LOVE the Extreme Solid.  I’m sure I’ll end up with this one as well as the upcoming Pearl Trial (I believe it’s called)....

HB Trial I believe is Korea only. JK Sports has the info on it and shows S71 Pearl. My assumption is we'll see another HB with S70 Pearl later this year

So I still use my HB Claw. Assuming it's drilled the same, this new one is stronger? Right now the HB Claw is still my benchmark piece.

This will be a stronger ball overall to the claw.  It's a little earlier and more continuous.

900 Global's site doesn't list the core numbers for any of their balls?  I didn't see any.  Other than something useless like flare potential high.  No RG's or differentials?  Is this information available somewhere?

Easiest way to get this info is to click on the Download link(s) below the ball.  It will show you the Magic 8 shelf talkers which has RG Diff and Split Diff numbers.

They're all like 2.54RG and .050 ish diff.

I like cores that are a little taller in a lot of cases so I've naturally gravitated towards these.

The Extreme Solid and Revival are fantastic for me.  Across the entire Badger line I believe they've tweaked the cores a little here and there (I'd defer to the Global experts on this) but nothing major.

There have been 2 basic cores in the Honey Badger line since its inception.   Grapnel(San Antonio) and Grapnel 2.0(Utah).  They have made some tweaks along the way such as in the Money Badgers(inverting the core for larger diff) and Extreme Badgers(adding an inner core lowering rg and increasing diff).  Since Grapnel 2.0(Revival and Intensity) cores are both the same we will see where things go in the future.  I like the inner core wraps on the Honey Badger series since the Extremes as it give a more consistent ball reaction across the weights(16-14) and it allows balls to be produced below 14.

As someone who had to drop to 14 while rehabbing an injury I can see the reaction differences the older 2 piece cores had between 14lbs and 15lbs and the newer equipment is much closer between those weights.

True info on all the HB Asymmetrical line.  The Symmetrical Badger line utilized the Lacerate Core.  those included the:

Badger   (Hybrid)
White Hot Badger   (Pearl)
Badger Infused    (Hybrid 70/30)
Pink Fury   (Solid)

The Badger/Honey Badger line has been and will continue to be 900Global's benchmark ball.  Similar to what the Hyroad did for Storm.  IMHO
just my .01cent

The Honey Badger Intensity offers everything great about the Honey Badger line as a benchmark piece of equipment. Players of all styles will find this ball to be the first thing out of the bag. While this may not be the strongest piece of equipment, it will allow for players to reach the pocket on any house shot and most medium/long patterns with ease. Not only will it get you to the pocket, it will look pretty doing it with its sleek, eye-popping, pink and black combination.

Personally, my Honey Badger Intensity is laid out with the pin over the ring finger. This allows for the ball to have a smooth, strong, and controllable reaction that throws pins around with ease. Throughout the first couple weeks of this ball in my bag, it has been the first ball I grab. It allows me to grasp which adjustments I need to make real early on due to its predictability.

This ball is similar to the original solid cover badger, the Honey Badger Claw, but offers a bit more on the back end. Also, with newer technology comes better pin action as well. Also, I'd venture to say if you love the badger line in general, you ought to add one of these to your bag.

You will not regret your purchase of this piece!
