Natural vs Link
« on: September 26, 2009, 07:05:15 AM »
I know the Natural is some type of urethane, but how would it compare with a 900 Global Link if drilled the same and had the same surface? I currently need a ball to go under my Sure Strike and above my Link. I'm not so sure that the Natural is stronger than the Link, but my Link is pretty weak. Here's some stats on me:

Stroker. 275-300 RPM. 15-16 MPH ball speed. Good axis rotation.

Thanks.

Don't you think that the Fast with it's R2S coverstock would be stronger than the Sure Strike?

are u familiar with a urethane reaction? I wasn't, its something you need to try in order to understand/compare it.

basically a hook/set reaction with less overall hook than any resin ball but it will hook more than a plastic. But you will see minimal backend reaction. A Natural is going to hook a lot less than a Link. However, a LInk for me is anything but weak. But I threw a Natural and was throwing around 18 at the arrows with a Link and had to play around 10 with the Natural. I didn't get the best carry either its definitely something that takes some getting used to.

I would look at something like the Mars or Pluto, maybe a Nomad Pearl drilled weaker if your trying to fit something in between the Sure Strike and Link.
