I'd take a Bounty or a new AMF Mega Friction... both are less angular off the breakpoint, but will still provide enough recovery. I have plenty of hand, though, and last year I struggled with having TOO angular of a ball reaction... I threw more messengers than anyone, but also left too many four-nines and seven-tens... so something that is earlier and smoother, I think, will suit me well this year.

That being said, maybe you need a more angular reaction? I know some of my teammates needed something stronger off dry, whereas I just needed more surface or something earlier.

I am intrigued by the Mega Friction. Wonder if there will be a booth selling them there. if so, i think I will get one there for the hell of it. Too bad there wont be many other opportunities to use it back home.

The Bounty. For me a solid is more readable off a fresh breakpoint that a pearl...

Both balls mentioned are solids.

I wouldn't hesitate to take the S75 but I would plan on using it only for the TEAM event! The ball is fantastic on OIL/MED but a DUD on DRY!

ACTUALLY,..the S-75 is a mixture of Pearl and Solid, the silver is the pearl, the black is solid,..like a lot of two-tone balls. And when shined (for me)  take on a pearl ball effect,..hence why I'd rather have a Bounty,..which by the way has pearl also,..but not much..jim

Where are you getting your information because their website doesn't specify one way or the other?  Just because it has Pearl coloring doesnt make its cover a pearl.

Probably an S75 Break sanded to about P3000 grit.
They don't use that much oil. I think a Bounty would be too much for the average "handed" bowler without a high ball speed.

Also remember that Soakers are lot stronger as they "age". Most people are still seeing it make a left turn on medium oil. Wait til they start absoring some oil. They'll have to find medium-heavy oil to use it then.

from the makers,..Eric to be specific.  But we're getting off the subject,..like I said my preference would be the Bounty.
