Hey all,
My very trusty NRP is starting to crack badly and it's out of warranty. Rather than fix it, I'd like to continue supporting Global as they've been quite good for me.
That said, how similar are these two balls? The layout will be my favorite for an asym pearl--45* x 3.5 x 80*.
Specs:
~ 15 - 16mph on the scoring monitors, depending on the house
~ 300 rpms
~ 23* axis tilt
~ 63* axis rotation
Thanks in advance for the insight!

I'm betting it's going to be more overall and a bit smoother. The cover is strong.

I don't think the DCT Pearl is as clean as the No Rles Pearl (which is fairly chuggy and early for a pearl).

Good to know, everybody. Thanks for the advice.
I know the NRP has a strong cover, and DCT Pearl touts a strong cover. That's nuts how strong the DCT Pearl cover seems to be!
Would one say the DCT Pearl can handle more oil?

I have thrown both and loved the NRP. I also have two DCT Pearls now. One drilled the exact same as my NRP. The NRP is cleaner through the fronts and more angular on the back end than the DCT Pearl. But the DCT pearl is a much more user friendly version. DCT pearl has great midlane read with strong arcing motion. Can't go wrong with this ball at all. To me it is more versatile on many more patterns. Took it to a tournament last week and did not have a look with anything else but the DCT Pearl Pin down. Shot 799 first three with a 300. Had NRP at same place the year prior and it was way to much down lane to even come close to using. Both years throwing on the THS. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for this breakdown, scotty!
