inverted core?

i saw a bounty hunter with an "inverted core" and on the ball is ingraved display only. but it had great specs. what would happen if i drilled it?

Not necessarily.. iys putting the top of the core on the opposite hemisphere of the ball as the ball goes down the lane.. it isn't the same as just revolving the ball a half a turn..

It could have bottom weight. In which case you'd need to drill it upside down to make it legal for top/bottom weight, and so it would be no different than drilling a regular version.

My guess on this is that the ball was sent to a pro shop or something as a display ball. The "inverted core" designation is most likely stamped there because the core inside the ball is indeed up side down and therefore could not be sold.

Hence the : "For Display Only" designation....
