I'm asking the same question about the Link, 900 Global site says it is a "Reactive Resin", so does that mean a solid?

A pin under ring Lunatic is absolute money to smooth out the typical house shot. Great ball.....

I drilled mine with a five and a half pin to pap, intent was get as much length as possible. Well I got the length, to much. Time to plug and re drill.

I'd try a weight hole and surface adjustments before plugging it. Sometimes the factory polish can be a little too slick.  Take it to 500 and repolish it, i think that will help. I know a P4 weight hole helped mine tip more too if need be.

Doug did you go pin under bridge on yours?

That's is the way I think I'm going to drill mine
That's what beach suggested

Mine as well is drilled pin under fingers about 5 away and it gets real easy length on house shots.  More than that of the Break Point Pearl.

Good house shot / wood house ball for me.

I think doug went pin under ring.

I have two, one is pin under bridge, gave me a great midlane read, smooth when it changes direction and nice little pop on the back with the polished cover. Can be stronger than expected on shots with less head oil.

Second one is drilled pin under middle finger for more length, has a P4 weight hole, gets rid of any kind of under/over shot. Very good sport shot ball for me, worked well up the boards on Viper last weekend.

have heard pin below and pin above for high rev people

I know that usually pin above means more angularity

Randy,

I have to take some pictures of them when i get a chance, but I have two, one drilled like my HYPE and the other like my SIDEWAYS.  Pin under bridge moved a lot for me off the pattern than the pin under middle does.  Great ball to start the THS on or something like Chettah.  Pin under middle saves me when they get to snappy, really tames the dry, great for that burnt up house shot.  Saved me last night in league when my pearls were sliding in the middle and reading too early on the outside.  I did put a weight hole in this one, inch lower than a double thumb, The pin is a little more left of middle finger, kept the flairs a little too tight for me, weight hole spaced them out some more, got it to read a little more in the mids.  This ball with surface is a monster as well, but thats another story.

HYPE (lunatic 1)

Sideways (lunatic 2)

We did one for my old man, pin above middle with cg kicked enough right for no weight hole, he has a good rev rate but less speed, this thing jumps off the pattern for him.  For him it retains a lot of energy through the front part of the lane with the neg pin placement and the factory finish, makes its jumpy off the pattern.  If you wanna pin up like that i''d say add a little surface, if not pin it down for the control aspect of this ball.

Beachcomber how would you compare the Lunatic and Maniac at sa,e surface. I have a Maniac 5 x 3 1/2 pin up at 3k polished. For me that all is money but at times could use a pinch more anglularity on the backend
