Joining the 900Global movement
« on: January 14, 2009, 12:57:09 AM »
I'm going all 900Global. I'm having the Bounty, S75, and Maniac drilled today, I already have the Break Pearl and LOVE it. Reviews to follow.  Creature and Link soon.  Can't wait.

You won't look back.  They make some very good pieces.  I would suggest a Bounty down the road.  I love all my Global products.

I'm starting with the Bounty, S-75, Maniac, Break Pearl, Creature, and a Link.
Once i get those lined up I'll look at filling any gaps that I may have.
I'm bowling the Texas Masters in a week on a house that is not a favorite of mine for sure, so I gotta get this stuff worked out before then.  OLD wood lanes, with terrible heads, and tight backends is the norm for that dungeon.
Actually it's where the PBA bowled the Quaker STate Tournament for years.  Usually have to play the track with something mild to medium,..and hope for a little carry,..I think the Creature will look good there...any thoughts ??

I guess your talking about Forum Bowl?? What a dump that place has turned into.. Its really sad to think that place used to be an elite center in the DFW area..

We bowl travel league there once a year and I normally use a polished ball and play up the boards and hope I cary when I hit the 1-3..

I had a Creature and that ball might be just what the doctor ordered for there..

Good luck to you with the Global stuff..

I pay for, and or trade for all the stuff I get.  So I am not blowing smoke up anyone's backside, when I recommend a ball.   I get it one and like it, you will hear about it.  If I get one and hate it, that ball is gone!  Just the way I do things.

bombsaway,...All bowling ball manufactures have a few amatuers on their 'staff'.
They (manufactures) all accept resumes, and usually make decisions on the staff members in late fall for the next year.  There are different types of amatuers depending on the ball company,..for example some are European stars, or College Teams, or Military Teams, some are Team USA. They're  top bowlers in different parts of the country that provide equipment exposure for the ball company. If you want to get on a staff send a bowling resume to the contact information usually provided by all manufactures,..I don't think that there are a lot of people, but there may be a few...jim

Shoot dude, go ahead and get the Break.  You'll love it.  It definitely will give you a different look than the S75 and the Break Pearl.  Out of all my 900 Global balls (and I have them all except the Creature Solid and the Awakening) the Break is still my favorite.
