Title: Long Shot
Post by: tdub36tjt on December 03, 2010, 02:21:55 AM
Just got a Long Shot and am getting ready to drill it...I am wondering how angular it tends to be?? I am thinking putting a longer pin with a higher VAL angle to smooth it out a little while keeping it from over flaring and being too early?? If it tends to be smoother than I am expecting then I might decrease the VAL angle a little....Just wondering what everyone else is seeing out of their Long Shots.

I'm doing well with the Favorite and Bank, I've yet to figure out the Long Shot. It's more hook than I expected. Mine is pin down. Pin up with a long Pin-to-Pap might smooth it out.

Mine is 4.5x60x30 and it's nice and long with a smooth but strong move off the friction
