looking to get new equipment
« on: January 16, 2010, 04:09:11 PM »
so im looking to get new equipment and heard that 900 global is so good, it can replace at least 2 balls in your current arsenal. i was looking at the bounty hunter and the break out but was wondering how big of a difference is there? thinking about drilling the BH for oily lanes, and the break out for my benchmark ball. how does that sound?

Both are very good balls and your ideas sound about right.

I wouldn't put too much hype into statements about balls and companies though. I think every company is putting out great stuff these days. It depends on your style and conditions as to what will work.

Once in a while they will build a dud but that is the exception these days. Only company I won't use is Brunswick but that is due to principals.

That would not be a bad couple of choices.

If you need a REAL oiler tho, you might look at the AMF Mega Friction.  It''s earlier than the BH, but you would not go wrong with either and it''s made under licence by 900Global.

thanks for all the help guys. i received a couple msg's saying good things about the break out as well and im going to order one tomorrow. woohoo first 900global ball! haha. hopefully more to come.

completebowler: yeah i feel the same way about companies. everyone makes good things, take the good from everyone and you'll have great? haha. but i too keep my distance away from brunswick. they make great balls, dont get me wrong, just doesnt match to my game. although i loved my rampage, ultimate inferno, and ultra zone. was my best 3 ball arsenal at the time. loved those balls.. haha
