Post by: 300 dan on April 29, 2019, 03:21:36 AM
Hello all I was looking into try 900 Global this summer, bowler I know is selling used special ops. Was thinking of getting it to try out some of there equipment, what would that ball compare with balls from other companies. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, the Ops series have always been very similar motion to the Widow series, but the Special will be a bit smoother on the backend vs a Widow because of the lower diff.

I do have a Shadow Ops, Tactical Ops, and a Cardinal Boost from 900 Global. 900 Global does put out some nice equipment.

I just punched up my X-2 which I have had since last summer. Took it to a tourney and was extremely pleased with it.

I did not have to move in as the lanes broke down. Simple hand adjustments allowed me to play right, and in the track area for quite a while with success!

Came back to my home house for regular league play, and they had put out a light/medium shot that broke down fast. Pulled out the X-2, stayed right and shot 678!

This ball is a keeper!

My X is an absolute beast when I can keep it in front of me. It's like a urethane type roll with more forgiveness. Once I start to get too much left to right with it, it goes in the bag. That's an X 5*65. Have an X2 nib that I'm laying out 4*30 to give me the same consistent roll, just more flare.
