its a nice midrange ball, when i compared it to my Grand Illusion that was drilled similar, it was a little more skid/flippy, its a great benchmark ball to have

From my experience's the Lunatic is much stronger then they rated it. That ball has some wicked backend.

My Lunatic hooks drastically more than my Break Pearl and Maniac.  Drilled it 6 x 5 and it's a lot more ball than I was hoping.  Great roll though and it's a monster

Benchmark ball for me too.  On a THS I can constistantly play an outside line with this ball, generally up there boards 10 to 5 type swing. Have played deep with it though, belly it out there and no problem on the return.  Numbers are close to the clutch but a way different look, never seems to over react on me, and i can trust it to finish.  Pin under bridge layout, no weight hole.  always seems to make it back with a healthy pop on the back. i would compare it to the thunder series, Fast/Furious, T-Roads.  For lane #1 probably something like the THS.....but way better

Now of course it all depends on layout but if find the ball to be very similar to Lane #1 Supernova Xp. It gets down the lane and just has and awesome flip on the back end.
