Ball rep?

Looking at the PBA article regarding Jurek, he mentions he got some help after consulting with ball rep Tim Mack.  If Jurek is on staff with 900 Global and Mack is with Storm I'm only a little bit confused since I know Storm has something going on with 900 Global.  So who actually is the ball rep for 900 Global?

Per JJ a few months back, he was not allowed to continue throwing Storm/Roto, but supposedly Barnes was. 900 was having some of their balls poured out of Utah, mainly the 3 color ones. So there is some sort of relationship going on.

He did mention that he could use AMF

Storm (i.e., Bill Chrisman) should just make 900 Global a full blown Storm brand or subsidiary. Maybe then the marketing will improve, not only for 900 Global, but for the AMF brand. 900 Global is a total failure when it comes to marketing the AMF brand. Just releasing a half dozen balls a year does make a brand. Storm's marketing is so out in front with apparel, bags, accessories for both the Storm and Roto Grips brands that it puts 900 Global's to shame. It would be great to see such a marketing plan take shape for both 900 Global and AMF. Such a plan would reap rewards for Bill Chrisman's investment in 900 Global/AMF.

Perhaps, then, you should present your business plan to Mr. Chrisman and offer to finance your proposal to insure he will accept it.

Keep in mind that Storm bought a stake in Global Manufacturing, which of course handles 900 Global and AMF.  Storm now uses the SA plant for some balls, and 900G/AMF now use Utah for some of their stuff.  Since 900 Global is PBA registered again, Storm has moved some of their management to handle that brand and this is why you're seeing Tim Mack as one of the reps.  I've even seen some of their other tour reps with 900 Global so it appears that they are sharing staff for the time being.

900 has poured Storm balls from the start. Tropical line I believe was always out of San Antonio. Others as well.

Exactly! That is why Storm put money into Global...they couldn't afford to have them fold and lose this extra manufacturing. Now as a bonus, some of the Global 900 stuff is poured in Utah as well.

I believe, and I have no inside information on this just what I read, that Global 900 only became PBA registered again because of the relationship with Storm, so it makes sense that they would share tour/ball rep resources and not hire someone specifically, especially since Global's tour presence is so small at the moment.
