Title: New Ball Thoughts
Post by: BlueDiamond on July 17, 2019, 09:42:29 AM
I was wondering about how many people would like to see a bowling ball that lights up, and is this a ball that you would buy?
I ask these questions, because if there are a vast amount of people that would like to see this, it can be done.

It wouldn't be legal for use in sanctioned leagues and/or pretty much any tournaments, so I would never buy one.

Brunswick has this

Although light up grips would seem like the better solution and most cost effective. Clear grips that have tiny led lights in them with batteries at the bottom.

I imagine the cosmic bowlers might think they are cool but not anyone else.

Ebonite Quasar. Was scary to drill and couldn't use it in league and was overpriced.

Exactly! These balls already exist! I've seen them at Cosmic Bowl!

Even the glow in the dark ball (didn't require black light) Visionary had turned out being a flop due to manufacturing issues from what I understand.

OK,  I thank you all for your thoughts.  I bowl in National Tournaments.  I know they are not to be used there.  Just like No Smoking.  It was something that crossed my mind just for fun bowling.  Just as a tennis shoe has lights for fun.
