What!!
-
What!!
2 piece Hybrid? Darn guess shouldn't have ordered that Warlock XV.
-
So it will be a hybrid?
-
Nice! Any more info?
-
So it will be a hybrid?
Perhaps my totally uninformed guess only.
-
And to think... I thought I had enough bowling balls. Does this addiction ever stop?

Depends on how much space you have to store balls I suppose. That seems to be the limiting factor if you have more money than brains.
-
Does this addiction ever stop?
NOPE.
NEVER.
-
I might have to build a bowling ball rack in my garage if this continues. I keep tellling myself that the next one is my last one. HAHAHA!!! Oh well. I guess there's worse things to spend your money on!

It doesn't look solid, it's probably just a touch more midlane
-
Per the picture it looks to be all pearl, figured with those colors and hybrid it would look more like the Shadow Ops; could even be a stronger cover? But man I hope it is a hybrid.
-
The key for me is two piece but then done buying balls for awhile.
-
A Hybrid, best of both coverstocks!!
-
It's an international release, not for the US.

Lol, reading this thread was like watching your friend think he's taking some girl home all night..then she dips on him.

That's harsh but funny.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
Are we sure it will be an overseas release? Sounds like speculation to me.
Yes I'm holding my breath

Well 900 global teased a few days ago on their Facebook page and it doesn't look like it'd be another HB
-
They typically release several balls at one time so you never know.
-
Found this the other day on Facebook.
-
Great, another teaser!
-
Looks like my Dream Big!
-
No... That's no Big. That's the color scheme of the On.
I may cry if it's a rerelease of the On.
-
It's a dream on remake fyi
-
It's a dream on remake fyi
You have confirmation of that??

Yes by like 4 staffers and one pro shop guy, even said, "I BET STEVEN TYLER KNOWS WHAT BALL IT IS"
I DONT LEAK FICTIONAL STUFF. lol cmon Doom.
It's a dream on remake.
The only real question is, is STORM or 900 making it. It was during before 900 had 3 color pour tech. 2 dreams later storm got them the capability to do so, so Doom should really like this dream on, as it's probably 900g produced .
Even the roto Hot cell is made in San Antonio, as well as probably the pitch black.
-
I'm buying 2. Only high end ball I've really liked from them since the Bank.
I always wanted to drill one 50*5*65 and go to town. The pin down ones always looked amazing.
-
I was reading somewhere that remakes do not need to have USBC approval again. Not sure how true this is. Really hoping for a Dream On remake. That ball was pretty good on just about everything. I have no idea on the new HB on the approved list. I would also think overseas.

Is it recommended to use the same layout I have on my honey badger for this ball too? Will it give me a different line? Would this be the best choice? If anyone has a suggestion I would love to hear it!

Well, the core is different, and even though the intermediate diff is .008, I'd imagine the Badger is going to have more of a rounded shape.
*If* I punch one, I'd probably go 50*5.5*65 with it. My honey badger is going to be 60*4.5*30
-
My HB is drilled 50x4 3/8x55

Bowlingball.com saying heavy oil with a hybrid S71 and med diff. Hmm kind of doubt it for me at least. So far only recent 2 piece seen can truly handle heavy oil for my style is the green quantum. Even my warlock is medium heavy tops. Badger will own THS more than likely. Still if had to choose glad to have the honey badger. Not a lot of asym 2 piece that you can use on the drier side of medium or when you need to get real deep on THS after some transition. Not sure I see a need for an asym hybrid 2 piece on THS but shoot a year from now will probably own it anyway. Does look sharp and got that mid range pricing I love.
-
I'll bet the middle finger on my right hand that this is not a "heavy oil' ball.

A ball with a bigger engine and same cover isn't even considered a heavy oil ball.
Bowling ball.com is just there to sell you a ball lol.

A polished S70 coverstock with an RG of 2.57 is not likely to be used for heavy oil for very many people outside of Jesper Svenson and Belmonte. I'd suggest medium light to medium oil for most people, unless you sanded the coverstock.
