Robert Smith has a picture of 8 balls on his Facebook page that he's drilling up for the Summer Swing. One is the Black Ops, which he said was the 2nd version of the Eagle family of balls, and the other looks like a dull urethane, the Boo-yah.

WHAT??

Where's the link? Your such a tease. Lol.

Saw a box of each at proshop yesterday.
-
Saw the Black Ops thrown yesterday, S-70 cover a lot like the Eagle was descent length with a strong backend
-
S70 owns you!

What you said!

I wonder what core will be in that Boo Yah!
-
Cores.
-
But what about this?
Edit: if you can't read on the picture, it says S55 solid cover. Pod symmetric core. 4000 grit finish. 2.49 RG, .035 diff
-
Is that the same core as the ride?
-
Looks like the Favorite /Longshot core if I'm not mistaken.
-
That is the Desert Hook core shape with different numbers.
-
Sorry, I was commenting on the Booyah. The Chemical does look like the Favorite.
-
Today at a pro am Barnes was throwing a what looked like a chemical x, same color as photo but had s65 stamp on it and on the side tour. may be their tour preferred line. it looked good on the lane however just about anything Barnes rolls looks good.

What were the colors on it? Anything between S60 and S70 is money!
-
Similar color to chemical x

Just seen black ops at buddies for $109.99. Is this a misprint? If not looks like ill be throwing one of these next season.

I'm interested at that price
Less than a Pitch Black still
-
Yeah no kidding, better get my pre order in before they change it.
-
Same price for a Break Down. Seems they've made their money back on R&D
-
Yeah both with s70 covers but the ops has a beastly core for that price point.

All the new stuff coming out rolls great and fills in some of the holes in the arsenal. I was able to use the new stuff while trying out for the All Navy team and the during the championships once on the team.
Used on 2014 USBC Team pattern, 2015 Team Pattern, 2011 Masters Pattern, and 2011 Womens US open pattern.
The Dream Big hooks, but is very smooth compared to the Dream On...looks great going down the lane. The Black Ops is just a all around beast of a ball. Chem X rolls very controllable and will be a great all around tournament ball, Resepct pearl is same type of motion as respect, but little longer in length and the Booyah is a urethane reaction.
I will post some reviews soon as I want to also try these out on THS and the Insidebowling.com pattern on a tournament Monday.

Black Ops and Booyah are on my radar. Totally.
