Nuts Compared With Nano Pearl
« on: November 13, 2011, 09:05:46 PM »
I have a Nano Pearl that doesn't roll that great for me and I was wondering if the Nuts or Nuts Pearl would be close. I've had better luck with 900 Global anyway.

I have the Nuts and the Nano Pearl . My Nano pearl goes pretty straight....It does alright on the fresh when I can stay near the track but when I move in it is bad news....The Nuts has more midlane for me and is a little smoother (not much) off the spot. Both balls are at 2000 abralon...The layout on my Nuts is a little weaker than the layout on my Nano pearl as well which made it a little too responsive to the dry...Had I put a stronger layout on the Nuts I suspect it would have been a lot more ball than the Nano pearl. I would think the Nuts pearl would be a similar reaction to the Nano pearl.....

I haven't thrown a NanoP but from what I have saw it looks like the Nut's and Nut's Pearl gear up sooner than a NanoP.  I think its safe to say the 900 Global balls just start up soon than many Storm pieces.

My Nano Pearl goes fairly straight also. I tried it at 2000 and liked it even less. It rolled earlier and I think cerry was a little worse for me. I am bowling on a heavy condition though. I ordered some neat pads and some magic shine so I can try tweaking the cover some more. I just think I need more of a medium condition with some clean backends to get the ball to work.

Yeah I just don't think it is a very strong ball. I can't say I don't like it but it definitely isn't the first ball out of my bag. In fact it seldom makes it in my bag....But I still don't have enough games on the Nuts to give it a fair assessment.
