Anyone compare these two? Seems like they fit in the same spot in their respective companies. I've decided on a Bank Roll over an OMG Solid, so just want to see how the next step down compare.
Thanks!

I compared the two a few weeks ago and The Nuts is much stronger on the lane than the OMG Pearl. The OMG Pearl seems like a really good ball for playing in the track area on a burnt or dryer condition. It's pretty smooth off the back end and carries very well. I've watched both Michael Haugen and Missy Bellinder-Parkin shoot some really good games with the OMG Pearl at Regional events, so I think it's a great ball in the right hands. The Nuts, on the other hand, is strong and smooth and can cover a lot more boards than the OMG Pearl. It seems more suited for medium-heavy conditions. Don't let the polished appearance fool you - it's a strong ball.

I would have to say that the Nuts picks up sooner than the OMG Pearl with the OMG being a tab more angular. For me personally my OMG Pearl is able to play deeper lines than my Nuts. I have all the balls your talking about here and there is a larger difference between Bank Roll and OMG Pearl than BR and Nuts. Just my .02....Good luck with whatever you decide.

I have both drilled similar and the Nuts is much more stronger, recovers better, and it seems the OMG pearl will be better when the shot breaks down a little, but I would not consider it a dry lane ball. This is typical with pearls that I purchase because I had to play with the Bank Pearl, before I got the perfect reaction on it. I believe that the BanK Pearl outhooks my OMG Pearl so far. But have not put enough games on to break in the cover. The amazing thing is my Nuts recovers almost as well as my Nano at 4000 (with a good dose of secret sauce). The NUTS goes a few feet further than my Nano, but a big move on the back.

I would agree with Dan, the Nuts is a solid cover with more back end hook than most would think, the new NEAT finishing process is very misleading, when in fact it hooks more than 4000Abby with a more shiney finish. The ball is Nuts on the back end when you talk about recovery !!!
The OMG Pearl is no different than any other, they are not going to like extreme amounts of oil when polish is used as the finished surface, unless surface adjustments are used. However IMO it is not a dry lane ball , a medium oil ball would be a closer fit. Very clean with easy length, with an angular motion on the back end. The higher the bowlers rev rate the more jump the ball will have.
