Steve is a very acomplished bowler I would love to see him win player of year not because of any ball company just because he is good.

i don't really like Jaros all that much, but i'm curious to see what the 9G stuff does. good to see them get some exposure in the first real event of the season.

Sorry, this is the PBA. You're going to see what Jaros does, not what 900Global can do.

You can see what the 900Global does when you or your teammate uses it/them properly.

No offense intended, but I'm not being snide or nasty, just truthful.

Jaros is an excellent pressure bowler, like him or not. I didn't care for him when he first came out and was on Brunswick's staff. The more I watched him, the more I repsected him, if not his style. As he got older and more versatile and won more, I respected him more and more. He is GOOD. He can go very straight or he can cover all the boards. He does what he has to.

When bowlers are at this level of excellence, you see what they do, not what the ball can do for them. They can use any ball they're comfortable using.

So, the equipment has no effect on pro bowlers at all? I really have a hard time believing that but I guess that could be true. To me, it looked like WRW was struggling a little last year using Morich. I guess it could have just been him or maybe just me.

Finishing 2nd in the Player of the Year standings and being on TV more than anyone else than Chris Barnes is "struggling"?  I'd love to struggle like that with my equipment!

Equipment has an effect on talent. Ask Patrick Allen. Ask any pro for that matter. They are better than most with any equipment. To beat each other they have to have the right equipment in there hands at the right time.
