picked up a bounty
« on: November 06, 2009, 01:24:42 PM »
Have a question I just bought a used bounty picked it up cheap and it is drilled perfect for me only issue need some opinions on covers for this ball previous owner has it polished and it hooks a fair amount but i am lloking for a heavier oil ball than my 715 a and need opinions on where to start wih this thing. My stats are in my profile please give me an idea how much this thing hooks and where you think surface should be. thanks

it is drilled at about the 3 and 3/8 and the mb is kicked slightly right of my thumb with the polish is seems strong maybe a touch stronger than the 715 i was thinking 200 abralon i think 1000 with my rev rate will hook at my feet.

200? 1000 is the OOB for this ball, sanded lower than 1000 will trully make this ball as you say "roll at your feet"!

This ball should be stronger than the 715A by nature.  So I say just surface it the same as the 715A and go from there.  4000 abralon should be plenty strong for this one.

well an update i put it back to original shell of 1000 its pretty clean in the fronts and picks up picks up nicely in the midlane with the best continuation i have seen from an oiler ball. The hit is remarkable it seems to carry off hits and handles carry down very well. Overall I  am very impressed with this ball alot more than the break and the break pearl, I am looking forwards to trying other 900 equipment.
