900Global Soakers?
« on: November 10, 2008, 02:17:45 PM »
The 900G web site does not specifically use the term, Soaker, like Dyno-Thane did, but I understand that the S75 Break was a "Soaker". The web site only uses the word, absorbent, to describe the ball.

Is the Bounty also a "Soaker" coverstock?
Will all future 900G balls have a Soaker coverstock?
Will any future 900G balls have a Soaker coverstock?
If not, how will we know which ones are?

Did the patented Soaker name also go to Ebonite when they bought Columbia?

To add to Jeff's post.....How do the new 900Global balls compare to the old DynoThane balls covers ala "Soaker"?

For instance do any of the new 900Global balls compare cover stock wise to the DT Thing?

Phil,

Can you tell us if there will be any future Soakers?

As much as we seem to like them here, I have a hard time believing they'd just stop making them.

We will add them to the line when they best match up to the core.

I may be wrong here but I beleive if you look at their website, it kinda tells if the ball is reactive or if there is an additive in the description.  For instance, look at the Maniac.  It states "S50 reactive".  In the Break S75, it states "Absorbent coverstock".
