Title: pro pin break
Post by: PWOICantHearU on September 11, 2009, 08:38:36 AM
Anyone punch up a pro pin break?  I don't know anything about 900 equipment.  Just curious if anyone has had any success or failures with any pro pin 900 stuff

I've got a 5" pin Break and the ball is awesome. Just lay it out using the pin and mass bias and use a x-hole to make statics legal.Pin and MB control balls reaction . CG onle determines weight hole size and location if needed

I had a break drilled out with a "trick drilling" a while back...it was great.  The drilling would've been slightly easier with a pro pin.

I agree with Stormed1.  I got a "pro pin", and had the choice of just drilling the fingers a little shallower than normal or putting the weight hole below the centerline.  I ended up going with a combination of the two and the ball is great.

I have a S-75 pro pin (long pin).  Long pin balls work great for the double thumb layouts by Mo Pinel.  Tekneek sold it to me and I drilled it up...wow what a strong ball with great, GREAT, move.

He, Tekneek, seems to have a good handle on drilling the pro pin stuff.  Most of what he orders from Eric is almost all long pin.  He can really help you out.
