Red/Black Link?
« on: February 23, 2009, 11:02:30 AM »
Is this finally the solid resin Link?

The original Burgundy/Gold and the newer Blue/Purple are definitely pearls.
The new Rose/White also appears to be a pearl.

Their website doesn't indicate which are solids. The Magic 8 (url link above) doesn't either. I think the Red/Black is solid but I don't know.

Doug, which other one might be solid???

As far as I know the Red/Black is the only Solid. Having all four in the shop at the moment and without asking someone till tomorrow from Global that is my best guess. BTW the Rose/White really does look good in person.

Jim,

In your other post, you said you used a Red/Black Link. What did it seem like to you? Thanks.

Hot off the wires of the top-secret under ground bunker at 900 G,
"the Red/Black is still not a full solid but it’s the closest one to being a solid.  The Red is solid and the black does have pearl in it.  The other 3 balls have both color mixes pearlized.  Again our goal wasn’t to make a different reaction with this one, but rather to add to our color selection."

Chas,..I love mine, I can't tell much difference between my Blue and the Red/Blk except the Red is drilled to read a little earlier and arc..and it does.

Thanks, Jim.

You guys are having entirely too much fun. You ought to be more like the fighting inmates of Lane#1 and a couple of forums here.
Thanks for a dose of sanity.
and thanks for the info.
