RIP/IT
« on: March 11, 2013, 11:57:30 PM »
This is a much better ball then a mid performance line hands down.  I used it for the 1st time tonight and shot a 752 set with only 1 open ( a 7-10 split) 259 249 244, I throw the ball an avg. speed of 18.50  MPH and this ball has no problem making it back to the pocket ( stood 7 boards left of center and played the 10 board with it all night)  even I was a little shocked by the movement on the backend with this ball )   this is a must ball to have in your bag NOW!!!  Once again, Thanks 900 Global, you've done your home work on another great ball. ^5

don't 2nd guess yourself on this Rip/IT,  you wont be disappointed :)
If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)

741 tonight with 2 opens, Both 10 pins :(  I never missed the pocked once with this ball.. once again this ball comes through time after time..  i have avg. almost 250 with this ball for the last 8 sets :)  how do you not want to keep throwing this ball.. like i said before, If you don't have 1 of these in your bag you need to go out and get 1 now..  this ball speaks for it self and then some

the missing link was a good ball// happen to have a few still set aside :)  they are a very hard ball to come by now.. if you do get lucky and find 1 hold on to it.. they will be like gold down the road. :)

I plan on punching a Sure Thing and a Rip/It very soon. According to my source on the inside, the Rip/It is super awesome.

your inside source? LOL Thats funny.  Ive been telling you guys this for almost a month now.  If it took your inside source this long to decide if it was a awesome ball or not, you need a better source for this infomation sooner then later LOL.   They do have pleanty of these in stock, I just ordered a few more from them for the collection set :)

What 9G/AMF ball does the Rip It resemble?? or other manufacturers products?? Since BTM & BJI have not reviewed it yet, I have nothing to compare it to (as if that is some help). My house will be among the last to physically see one. THX

Well, the core was used in the OMG Pearl and the Black Mamba. Weaker cover, I would say that currently, it would resemble the length of the Wisdom and the back end of the Jewel? It's a unique motion to the line up.

IMO, I will definitely say the Longshot. Great ball for the money!

I could see that. Forgot about the Long Shot. They should have kept the Long Shot/Favorite in the line longer.

Doom, if you're looking for a Favorite replacement, the King Cobra definitely fits the bill. I went same layout as my Favorite and have an almost identical ball reaction. I almost like the King Cobra a touch more in that it has a bit more recovery from an inside line for me. I wasn't a fan of the Sure Thing as a Favorite replacement because it was stronger earlier. With polish, it was better, but definitely not the same. King Cobra is well worth the money, played with it on numerous sport shots and gave a great look on all shots.  OK Bowlers, it's hard for me to even think about drilling up another ball right now for myself. it's even going to be harder next month when they come out with there new release :)   I have every ball set aside and the more I throw whats in my bag now including the Rip/IT the Pure hook - Break Pearl & bank of 900 pearl, its going to be hard to pull out one of these I have in my bag now to put what ball in its place? :(  but there will come a time IM sure ill punch a few of these old balls up and let them rip just like the 1's I'm throwing now :)  time will tell

Stronger earlier isn't a bad thing for me with what I am thinking of.

The Sure Thing did not work for me as a replacement to the Favorite. I see the King Cobra as a better fit.

I changed the surface on the Rip/It, and went with 500 abralon, then 2K abralon and polish. I saw a completely more even, consistent ball reaction. It gave it a little earlier read and more backend. I wish I had done this 3 weeks ago.

Rip/It and King Cobra are a perfect 2 ball THS arsenal.
