yeah.. mine is still in box surface... drilled pin up...cg slightly kicked out and a side hole... so, I should scuff it? first with the abralon pads or with sand paper??  Coz, I have been reading reviews that I should wait for about 20 to 30 games first, before really altering its surface??  this morning, I bowled in a tournament on heavily oiled lanes, and as usual, my ball didn't made enough move.. thanks in advance!

Eric at 900 Global said that the S75 doesn't need a break in period in order to be effective.  If the surface needs a little "tuning", I'd recommend 1000 abralon, or if you don't have that, a gray scotchbright.  I wouldn't use sandpaper unless that's all you have...then only wet sandpaper.

I don't know where people are getting that sandpaper is worse than abralon, or that they should avoid using it. I feel that i get my most consistent and predictable reactions using sandpaper, and especially using sandpaper before using polish over abralon then polishing.

I think people think that because it doesn't produce as smooth and pretty a finish as abralon, you can actually see the sand lines.

when I say useing sandpaper, as stated above you want to use water with it. You want to use water with any abrasive.
