Profit question....
« on: January 28, 2011, 01:27:59 AM »
Ive watched a few vids and one thing I notice is the reaction shape of this ball reminds me of the old Blue Pulse. Easy length and a big booming backend. I shot some good scores with Ol Blue, would the Profit be a good replacement?

The profit for me is my "league ball" I have it drilled bridge above pin with everything in line. My ball reaction on a fresh shot rolls best for me about the 12 board at the arrows to about the 6 or 7 board at the breakpoint with a straight up the back delivery. The backend is very controlled and not anywhere near overpowering. This is exatly what I was looking for due to our league lanes being lightly oiled this year. I believe this ball could be a lot stronger if drilled differently like a stacked leverage drill. I am a big fan of the Profit. I am going to get the Raw profit and drill it up similar to the Profit just for kicks to see how much longer the Profit goes vs the Raw Profit.

I have a Profit drilled 5x5 with the pin 2 inches above my bridge and the cg and mb in a straight line down my grip. The ball is a very good ball on medium oil and might be good on medium heavy if my house had that.

The ball is a  good down and in ball for me. It doesnt have a big back end with this drilling. I am from the old school of down and in and this ball works well for that.My house puts down a shot roughly of 37 ft with and I can play 12 to 8 with this ball and hold the pocket.

I think 900 Global makes one of the best balls on the market in my opinion and I just drilled a Bank Pearl today and will report on it after I throw it.
