Soaker covers
« on: January 21, 2009, 02:45:24 AM »
Eric might be the only one to answer this...I was wondering if 900 Global is going to be using the soaker technology on any balls in the near future. I truly think this could be a big marketing advantage to their company. With all the "ball death" out there, it would be easy to sell a ball that doesn't die when it soaks oil but actually gets better.

I bought a NIB Break s75 off a br user about 3 weeks ago and the ball hasn't left my hands. I probably have 25 games on it haven't cleaned it and it still rolls the same way it did the day I bought it. In fact, there are about 5 people I know now that want to buy one. When I tell them about the soaker technology they are apprehensive but intrigued. In my opinion, if they marketed the technology correctly and put the covers on a couple different cores, I think it would put them up there with Ebonite, Storm and Brunswick.
