Starting a new bag
« on: December 25, 2021, 05:39:21 PM »
I just got my first 900 Global ball, a used original HB. I really like it, but it struggles on our fresh 41' THS, too much volume. Looking to add a couple more Global balls to compliment the HB. Just found a NIB Equilibrium and wanted to know what to expect from this ball. From what I have read the cover has been used on multiple balls and seems to be versatile. Should I just use my favorite layout which is pin above bridge about 5 inches from PAP or try something different? Also, how will this compare to the MP from Storm? Probably will add the Zen to the bag in the future, should this be a factor in choosing a layout? How much stronger is the Zen compared to the Equilibrium? Looking forward to throwing this brand and joining the party! Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks.

For the Equilibrium I would probably go with a stronger layout in the 4" range without knowing much about your release.

If you haven't bought the Equilibrium yet, I'd skip it and just get a Zen. The Zen will still be a few boards more than an Equilibrium.

Zen should be tons of motion off the spot compared to an HB and a decently smooth equilibrium.

Would make a decent trio to start.
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
