Those are examples, not definitions.
I might consider covers that are a revolution as opposed to being an evoluton as potentially being "super" in my mind. What is your DEFINITION?

I see the Brunswick C-System covers as potentially being a high enough upgrade over their standards covers to be considered "super" after they are proven over time.

I don''t see Mo''s nor Storm''s Virtual coverstocks as being super, solely because I view them as evolutionary.

While I was at the Brunswick seminar Mo didn''t give a definition of what a super cover was but he gave us some examples.

He said the Virtual Energy and Gravity from Storm are in the classification, Mo''s Craze cover, Brunswicks'' c system covers as well as the wild ride and rattler for sure....

Gary, (I'm not being a "hard arse" so if it comes off so it was not intended)
still what is a "super cover", what sets it apart from other covers being used?? Chemical make up, Chemical Surface Roughness, I believe all companies are using different components to make the surface roughness a true factor as well as the "worm holes" in the cover to disperse the oil from the track area, is this the new "Super Cover you refer to? If so 900g and AMF have it they just haven't called their covers SUPER I think until someone actual defines and sets apart the older covers and the new "super" named covers and give parameters it can be a name used to spark sales.

I believe they are refering to the performace and most importantly the longivity of these cover stocks. For a while, ball companies came out with very aggressive cover stocks but the performance of these balls would not last long. If you look back at the "Inferno" line, this was the beginning of cover stocks that were very durable(even though they didn't know it at the time). A fellow bowler of mine still uses his inferno and it still hooks just as good as when it was new (despite the lack of him maintaining it). That is why BigB has came back to the activator cover stock formulas. Morich's balls are made by BigB and therefore Morich now has "super covers" also. IMO

If it's an issue of durability and longevity, then 900 Global nee Dynothane practically invented the idea.  Their Soaker covers are among the longest lasting covers around.

Furthermore, if it's an issue of durability and longevity, you can't leave out Visionary and Lanemasters.  Between those two, DT, and 900 Global, the idea of "super" covers is old news.
