Hey guys simple question. Let me know what the ball reminded you of after punching. I feel it's gotta be in the realm of mid price balls somewhere

Mine was stronger than my Marvel Pearl. Kinda seemed to act like the Modern Marvel should have been.

For me the Respect reminded me of a stronger version of the Marvel Pearl. It's definitely still one of the strongest OOB shiny ball for me. I do wonder if we would have used a cleaner pearl cover on the Respect, how close it would have been to the marvel pearl. The Respect Pearl had different core densities than the original Respect.

Respect Pearl was an all around favorite of mine. Totally like it better than the Respect and Respect Solid. I've heard a lot of people compare the Respect Pearl to the Marvel Pearl as having a lot of similarities.

So I was one of the unlucky bowlers that did not match up with the marvel pearl.
It was over under. Had a pin up layout something like a 3" pin to pap. Cg slightly kicked, no hole.
Should I go flippier or more of a control layout.

All of the good rolling Respects I've seen were pin down.

Billdozer if you a 3 inch pin to pap I would probably definitely re-drill it to say 4.5 to 5 inches from your PAP. Using a 3 inch to PAP might be causing the ball to read to quick in friction, and when you go peft off of that, it has no energy down lane from the ball wanting to start up. Just most opinion.

That was the marvel pearl...might a been closer to a 4"....
I wanna lock in this respect.
The dream is rolling really good for me!! Very happy with it and very sad to see the core go...

That definitely explains why you didn't like your Marvel Pearl. I would be going pin down because I love pin down higher end symmetrics. Since you said you almost never go pin down (which I'd like to hear why in this case), I'd probably want a small weight hole 3 inches deep on one of your go- layouts and drill bigger until it gives you the shape you want.

Never have success with em. I probably coulda made the MP work with a surface change.
It's a sight to see trust me. I get a weird looking motion, most people ask WTH is wrong with my reaction.
I probably drill 1/8 balls pin down.
Most recently a sky rocket (short pin, PSO didn't wanna do pin up...), I get a decent reaction with head oil, but usually it's just werid! Tossed my buddies pin up rolls great for me.
It's probably just my game...I'm a slower speed, rec dominant style, everything hooks on me!

Am I the only one who just doesn't care for the respect pearl? It'll serve a purpose for me on straight burnt lanes. It just doesn't hook much. I generally love the 1500 polished surface on just about everything but wondering if it might be the surface. Idk if I wanna mess with the surface cause I might find more use out of it on extreme conditions. Based on the dream I figured it would be ridiculously good same cover on a symmetrical core but it's just not at all what I expected......

Respect Pearl is by far my favorite of the Respect line. I used it this past weekend on the 2016 Masters pattern and shot +131 for 6 with it after opening up the line with the Respect Solid games 1 and 2. Definitely a sweet ball.

Nope you are not alone, I thought I was the only one. The original respect is the only one of the 3 I liked, but I will add I really like it

Inception Pearl looked very good from watching it roll last night. If I didn't have the Code Black and Primal Fear already I would be buying it.

I'm looking forward to drill the desert ops and truth pearl. Those will be my first 900 global balls. Haven't cared too much for storms latest releases. Phase was ok...too condition specific. Iq tour 30 is awesome. Not so sure I want to drill a timeless.I like a lot of roto releases lately.

I'm sorry to hear this. I know not every ball matches up for every bowler. If anyone says every ball they purchase is exactly what they expected or a perfect fit for their game, I'd say they are lying. As far as the Truth and Inception, I like what each provides. I can really see a difference on sport patterns. Typically on house shots I generally see lots of similarities with all balls as the conditions do a good job at bastardsizing ball reactions. I really like our line from top to bottom. Given the oil chart for a particular shot, for the most part I am able to put together an arsenal for that day. I look forward to what the future brings.

Really miss the Respect. Really kicking myself for not stashing the 16 lb Dream and Respect I saw now that I've decided to transition. Any idea on how close a Truth with polish would be? The Truth Pearl looks phenomenal, but not sure it would handle the oil the Respect was able to. Plus I threw the Respect a ton at 1000-2000 on fresher oil patterns.
