I have a suggestion -
Take the Awakening core, retro-fit the "titanium" nugget, put a "pure" pearlized Super-Flex coverstock on it (similar, no, Identical to the one on the Messenger B/S/P) and call it "The Messenger Ti Returns". A nice black and silver color pattern would be good. Suggested retail price: $150. ($95 internet) You'll make another quick million dollars. Hmm, maybe only $500K ... But you'd make a lot of us very happy.

Not only that, I believe the Titanium nuggets are too dense for the updated regulations that the USBC adopted in the past few years. If I recall Lane #1 hyped the Uraniums as having the densest core material allowed under the new rules...

If you wish to fantasize in peace, I'd recommend not trying to do so in a public forum.
There a LOT of classic pieces out there that I've never had an opportunity to use. I've only been bowling with reactive equipment since 2001. Unlike a lot of the bowlers my age on this forum, I didn't grow up in the YABA program either.
Am I jealous? Nah... If the ball was so good, why isn't Columbia still in business in San Antonio though?

True, Track and Columbia had it. Unless I'm mistaken, however, doesn't AMF have rights to the patent? I wanna say one of The Valor line ("P" if I'm not mistaken) and SuperHawk had nuggets in them. I'm not talking about the "ceram-x" or whatever that silly stuff was that the ninja RPM/C and Dick Weber Legacy/C had, but the real ti nugget.
Did the rights to the patent for AMF die with the Track/Columbia acquisition?
If AMF still has usage rights, could AMF manufacture a 900 ball to fulfill this purpose?
At least on my end the love of the ti nugget isn't only because of the Lower RG created but also the energy deflection back into the pins creating that awesome smacking noise coupled by low-flying rack devastation.

I was aware that you created the density nugget concept (in different capacities with different companies throughout the years). My concern was solely whether or not the intellectual property rights may have parted ways with the company logo.
In my opinion, the retro-fitting of the nugget would still be a great idea simply for nostalgic purposes and if nothing else, the placebo effect of the COR impact.
Thanks for your reply concerning the patent ownership, that was a question a few of us have been wondering for a while.
