Time Space continuum Mb location?
« on: May 13, 2019, 10:51:48 PM »
I'm getting this ball this week and I'm curious, any pictures of the Cut-away does not show where the Mb marker pin is, is it on the Sharp point or is it located on the Long curvature closest to the shell?

Can you elaborate more? Are you talking about on their website? I don't believe I have ever seen an asymmetrical ball on any website that shows a MB placement on the stock photo. Is that what you are talking about? I would like to help, but I seem to be a bit confused.

In other companies advertisements, there is a Mb marking pin shown, the Space Time continuum doesn't have this marked in any photo I've seen.

Every ball will be marked differently depending on how the ball is cast and where the core ends up. So, every ball is different as to where the MB is marked in comparison to the Pin-CG align.

Elaborating on what was posted above, if it helps, remember that the Mb mark will be 6-3/4 inches from the pin center. In theory it will be in a direct line with the cg, but that's actually rare. So, if you are looking for which mark on the ball is the actual mb, I usually just draw an arc and I know that the Mb has to be on the arc. finding the actual cutesy logo or dot that they use from that point is easy.

Ok, ive lost you guys, i know all about how to use the Pin & Mb in laying out a ball.

Take a look at the core photo of a Visionary Immortal, that funky weight core was a Cap on the bottom, a Cap on the  back and on the top, it was a Virtual Mass bias system,  if you look at the Continuum core, there is 2 flat spots on 1 side with a full smooth round shape on the other, is this considered an off-set forward core, a PSA (Preferential Spin Axis) core or a Virtual Mass bias core?

Brunswick posts theirs usually in the picture of the core. That's probably where he sees it from.

I always wonder that myself.

Well i drilled mine 4 1/2 × 4 × 4, I tossed a few games with it and i'm very happy with my purchase, reminds me of my old MoRich Shock & Awe pearl. I can't wait to use it Saturday morning.
