I drilled mine up Wed (23Feb) just before league started, with about 6 practice balls, I shot 768..!!!
This ball is amazing. I think it's more powerful than the 'Break-Point', hits very hard, and creates a great look
on the lane. I like a ball that starts up early, and continues thru the pins with power, and this one really does.
Pin over the ring, and the Mb between my PAP and thumb, gives this ball a great look.
The color is really nice, gots lots of looks, and the silver scrip is very unique. I can see why this ball will
be an asset at Nationals, it really cuts thru the oil, and holds agreat line to the pocket.
Good Job

Here is what 900 Globals says about it:
Looking for the Perfect Ball for Nationals?
We have created the perfect ball to use at the 2011 USBC Open Championships in Reno. Last season it was the Break Out that proved to be the solution for the demanding lane patterns used at the National Bowling Stadium during the Masters and Open Championships. Both event champions used a Break Out!
This season we’ve duplicated that performance and gave the ball a fitting name….. THE EAGLE! The EAGLE will utilize the same low RG Break Out core along with our top selling S70 cover that produced all of the big paydays last season.
As an extra incentive get rewarded for throwing the EAGLE! 900 Global is providing a $5,000 prize fund for the top 5 games bowled with our EAGLE during the 2011 Open Championships.
In Pro Shops early March

But if the Break Out is still available, why not just get one of those? Unless you really like the color and logo.....and the $5000 prize fund for the top 5 games that use the ball!

Personally, I'd like to see the Dhawk or Dhawk Roar!
The Break Out is still in some pro shops, but no longer production. Called this week to see if I could get another and was told they were out at the plant. Just hang on and get the Eagle, which is the same ball with different color and name.
Roll with 900 Global.

the distributor here in MI still has a good amount of Break Outs available.

I can't lie I have never had this little interest in a 900G ball....I know it probably rolls great I just think it looks like it was made in 1980.....Shelf appeal only goes so far, but you have to at least have some and unless your a fan of eagles I don't see any....plus its just a remake too.

The Break Out may be the best ball I have ever rolled. So my interest stems from it being just the Break Out in purple. The Break Out was just the Break in blue, so nothing new to recreate this ball. I have a ball promotion as part of my tournament I run in the spring and this will be the raffle ball. I would do a pin up and pin down drill and take those to Reno. Not a big fan of the color choice either, but last I checked pins are color blind. :)

Looks like a Triton Elite color wise, both the ball and the engraving.
