Title: war Eagle out of box
Post by: S-70BreakPearl on February 19, 2013, 12:44:04 AM
247 268 299  ( solid 8 pin or i could of had my 59Th perfect game )  this is the 2ND War EAGLE i have drilled up for myself in 3 weeks ( 1st 1 had a 0" pin 2ND 1 had a  4-4.5 pin with the CG 2"s left of pin and MB) i love the 2ND ball much better with the longer pin ..  this balls a beast and it has almost as much backend as my Bullet drilled the same way.. Thank you Eric for taking care of me on the specs I was wanting.. if you haven't tried 1 yet its time to think of going to your local proshop and picking 1 up.. You wont be disappointed

Your bullet train covers more boards than the war eagle???? I'm surprised by that....my bullet is strong front to back but plays real straight. My war eagle is much more in the back and covers way more boards....in a much different way.

I too am perplexed, my We and BE run circles around all of the Train series balls. Cover more total boards as well both have much more back end !

Hey Steve,  I have to play my WE more straight up as where i can stand 10 boards left and swing the Bullet Train all day long. If i was to play them on the same line my WE doesn't make it back to the pocket, it barely hits the head pin, it just goes that much longer for me. I have not changed the surface on either ball..  only difference is the bullet train has a 5" pin where my WE has a 4 1/4" pin. I'm only saying the Bullet covers more boards for me then what the WE does.  it might sound crazy, but Its true  :)

I'm guessing that your center might have a lot of carrydown then, and the surface on the Bullet Train is allowing you to cut through that. S79 at A pad vs S70 at T pad. That can possibly be the explanation.

Or he just has a much heavier volume of oil. The most hook I've seen from a Bullet Train is in the 900 Global videos. All the ones I've seen hook early and are super smooth downlane...Very similar to the Cobra type reaction.....

I still say the best ball to come out of the Global plant has been the Break Solid Series hands down the best ball they have produced !! Break, Break Out, Eagle Black Eagle and now the War Eagle, just money in the bank !!

Not bad choices at all, I would have to say my favorites are The Break Pearl S-70 the Prison Break & The  S-75 ( all in the break series line ) the Maverick  The bank of 900 the Versus & the Hack infect ( all overseas balls ) the Bounty The long shot the Nuts pearl The Bullet Train & war Eagle. all the rest of the balls aren't to bad either :)  but not every 1 is going to like the same balls I'm sure.. least favorite would be both of the Jewels.  not great balls for speeds of 18+MPH :o but i at least had to try them LOL

my polished break point pearl can handle oil better then my eagle but once the shot opens up the eagle is a great ball.

War Eagle does not disappoint just won one and had it drilled out of the box 257-257-257. It was outstanding. Of course it is my new favorite.
