Bounty Hunter Questions
« on: February 09, 2010, 10:56:51 AM »
Just bought a BH and this will be my first 900 Global ball. I was wondering if anyone could offer up some good layouts for this ball?

thanks

you should sell that and get the pearl, from what i know about your game and where you bowl, that will need to be pin in outer space and polished to get down the lane, unless your planning on using it on the flood for tourneys. the bh pearl is a much better ball for the everyday house pattern.

just my 2 cents big guy.

The oil pattern here has changed since you came down. There is more volumes of oil, and Ive got nothing to get through the first game. I also have decided to bowl all of the regionals here in the midwest, with money permitting, and figured it would be another good ball to use. I do plan on buying a BHP once The Man cuts my check for tax returns..

well...if your gonna drill it up i think you should do something pin up. the ball naturally and easily starts up on its own if you go pin down it may burn up. the ones ive seen and thrown that i liked were all pin up, the pin down to create the roll were all burning up and didnt do very much down the lane. so if you wanna control the front part of the lane and have roll go pin under but i think pin up will be a good choice

Whats the 4x4 drilling that I see most BH balls drilled with?

I have read that it does burn up early...so the pin up sounds good.

4x4 is the pin is 4 inches from pap and same for mass bias, since the cg doesnt really matter (omg im gonna get shot). but yea thats way to strong for most people unless they are handily challenged...and your not. lol

haha handily challenged...i like that!
i was talking to tj arnold and he recommended for me to go 4x4 with the pin top center of the bridge so the ball will keep hooking thru the pins...
