I wanted to know what type of surface everyone is using on there bounty hunter? I currently have my polish, but I am thinking about taking it down to 4000.

Polish over OOB finish.

me too,..little polish over the out of box finish, just to help it down the lane a little longer,...I usually don'y mess with the factory surface (1000-2000-4000), but a little polish is pretty normal for me,...I can't throw 'em 19-20 mph like the kids do.

What kind of polish do you use on it?

mine is at 4000abralon with a nice coat of Snake Oil. when i go to a tournament i'll stick it back to OOB, but i wanted to throw it in league and the only way i could was to shine her up.
-
I keep mine at box. I'll take it down to 1000 if I need an earlier read.

I played with the surfaced because I know you can NEVER get the out of box surface exactly the same. I like mine at 500/4000 for a great bite at the end or 2000 for a more smooth arc

i see a lot with heavy polish, oob for me. 500 to 4k is the closest ive gotten others too oob. have de-oiled in the "easy bake oven" havent had a lot come out, even after 100 games or so
