does it have the Mica or Particle?! thats what made the 2nd dimension so smooth and strong, much like what jbuzz said about an answer to the 2nd dimension.

who knows whats new coverstock these days and whats just renamed as something new.  

I think when they mention the same cover "as that old ball"  I think they are trying to give you similarties in reaction as well as create a hype.  There is nothing wrong with using the old coverstock bases, look at brunswick, PK18 is still going strong. You cant really question that. By bringing up "old columbia 300"  That is were BASF Superflex base comes in, a proven coverstock that is still used today with additives and advancements etc. making it newer and better.  

You cant go on reviews of an old ball while trying to determine if this ball is going to do the samething just based on some coverstock similarity.  Let the reviews triclke in, set aside the bias and BS, a go from there.  Dont judge it off people trying to be the ones with the scoop. Shoot, you might even like it, let a lone snag a piece of that booty! oh..Bounty!

It is described as a similar reaction shape, meaning today will look like a Ricochet back then, it will obviously be stronger and IT IS.

I would say from what I have found in the short time I have been throwing this, it DOES roll VERY similar to a 2nd Dimension. Someone mentioned the MICA that the 2nd had, and this ball looks to have a bunch of little sparkling things in it. 2nd Dimension was one of my favorite balls before switching to 900G and I feel confident that this ball will easily replace that!

That right there pushes me away from possibly purchasing this ball.

If i was going to pay 200 dollars for a high performance ball, i want new covers, not old. Cores I can go along with, but older covers I disagree with since that makes the reaction the most.
