Hey guys, had a friend change staffs from global to storm, and he gave me a black ops, absolute truth, and respect pearl. Just plugged and redrilled the black ops and respect pearl pin up 5 1/2 x 4, absolute truth 5 x 4 pin down. I’m amazed at how much these balls hook, especially the respect pearl. Have a hyroad nano fresh cover pin up same drill and these balls are right up there with it. Much stronger off the spot. I mean they just store up energy and keep coming from anywhere. These are going to be to strong for league, but an asset to my tournament arsenal. May even be in my bag for nationals in Syracuse. Hear doubles, singles are pretty tight this year. Maybe these balls just match up with my slow speed, looking forward to throwing them more. Just wondering if anyone has had similiar findings with these global balls. These are my first global balls I’ve thrown and I like what I’ve seen so far.

Been throwing 900 Global since the beginning, and for the most part, haven't looked anywhere else. If you're looking for something less, grab a Boost. Imo best entry level priced ball there is.

Boost have become very popular around me, especially with the seniors. They are under rated balls

Not familiar with it. Like I said these are my first three global balls. Usually like the higher rg balls like the hyroads. Buy I got a say this respect pearl is unreal for me. Backends and hits like a truck. Ball will be in my bag for nationals. What are the numbers on the dream on? Is it a solid or pearl? If they’re anything close to the respect pearl I may have to consider it. Problem is I have to many dam balls now.

I was actually talking to Billdozer, but it's 2.48 .055 and I think .024 intermediate diff. It's 74 Response Hybrid, and is absolutely the most backend I've ever had with a ball, and I've had mine for about 2 years and it's still a beast.
Much more ball than the Respect Pearl.

Wow, this dream on must be a hook monster. I checked it out on the reviews as well. It is an asymmetric which usually burn up for my slow speed. The respect pearl already hooks a ton for me. Not sure if I would ever see enough oil to use it. Have to think about this one.

Giving it some thought, I think ball reaction is about how a particular ball matches up for ones game. For me most times a strong asymmetrical actually goes straighter. I think this is why I get more reaction from the high rg storm balls, hyroads etc. Used hammer, Brunswick and they just hook and stop for me, flat ten city.
In theory the respect pearl shouldn’t hook that much, but with the higher rg and pearl cover it stores more and hooks for my slow speed. I bet if I took the 1500 polished surface off and hit it with 1000 abralon I could use it on the heaviest of patterns. May experiment with the surface just to see what it does. Just some observations on my part. Guess it’s all about what works for you and your game.

Try to stay away from the asymmetricals. Like the fact that it’s a higher rg asymmetric though. Probably would roll close to the respect pearl. Ball already backends like a truck for me. Same pearl cover, no? Plus I have a hyroad pearl coming any day now. Dam I’ve got to many balls. Lol!

I appreciate all the expert opinions and advice guys. I’m amazed how many posts some of you guys have. Like bulldozer and doom etc. Also great expertise from Luke. That is one funny logo doom. I’m new to the forum and I’m starting to find it addictive. Great info, and insights on here. Thanks again guys for all the expertise.

I'm about 14.5.-15 mph, and I have never had my On burn up.

Sounds like a hell of a piece then doom. I have exact same speed. 14-15mph. Man I’ll have to check with my pal the former 900 staffer that gave me the three I mentioned earlier and see if he has an on for me also.

Also, don't think of the HB as assym. It's .008, so it's very very minor. HB may be one of the best balls they've ever produced, and I've had plenty.
I'll be throwing up a review of several new balls in the upcoming month or so.

Don’t feel too bad. Pretty sure Storm has had an “influence†on 900global in recent months.
