IMO, they're 2 different balls. Covert is a strong assym and the Trick is a strong symmetrical. If you're not very consistent, then go with the Trick. It will give you forgiveness.

That being said, a pin down Covert with some surface would be my friend all day in team.

No matter how much Global tries to play down the Break core, you can not find a better core and cover for the price. Heck, they could be charging another $30 a ball and it would still be a hell of a deal. They're just that good. To tell you how good, I have 2 Coverts and a Shadow in my wish list, and still have a Black in the bag. I honestly think I could cover most anything with a bag of Ops and maybe a Boost.

I  agree with Doom.  The Break core with the S70 cover is one of the best combinations ever available from any manufacturer.
As an example today, I started league with a Radical V2 solid which at 1500 (500/1500 Sia Air) would barely turn the corner.  Switched to my 900 Global Black Eagle (from 2012) at 2000 grit Abralon and shot a 225 followed by a 235, finishing with a 624. Not a great series , but not bad either thanks to the Break core/S70 cover combo.

I can a Break core ball, drill it, and know exactly what I'm going to get off the drill press.  In fact, I'm so comfortable with it, that I'm going to be drilling 2 Coverts. 1 will be my normal layout for that ball (50*5*65) and keep it OOB. Then, for a great experiment, 1 45*4.5*20 and knock it down to 1000. Looking for a much different reaction, but feel it will be the biggest ball in my bag, no lie.
