Zen vs Eon

Any staffers out there who have had the chance to throw the Zen, how would you compare it to the Eon?

One of the staffers I follow says:

Eon slow and smooth
Volt long and angular
Zen fills the void left by the truth pearl

That's good enough for any of us, the truth line was great!

Another says similar to an axiom pearl but stronger cover...

In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

Zen has actually looked really impressive so far in videos people have been putting up. I think I'd agree that it looks fairly close to an Axiom Pearl. Definitely looks like more ball than a Marvel Pearl/Phaze 3/Idol Pearl/Idol Synergy

S74 was the Truth Pearl, Inception Pearl, HB Extreme Pearl. That cover has always seemed really close to R2X Pearl. The S77 on the Zen looks more responsive like the original Respect which was S79

Now I really need a zen, it's probably more like a respect but with a pearl cover but not as weak as the respect pearl 😎

Thank you for the input.  I have the Phaze 3, Eon & Marvel Pearl and was wondering where this was going to fit.  I love the Eon & MP so much I have one of each stashed.

I have Zen & Torque on way.  Zen may sit a bit and drill Torque.

Thanks again!

the only other ball 900 has released that is almost the exact same #s as the Zen   is the Pure Hook S-77 pearl  Both balls are symmetrical  & both have the S-77 pearl covers :)
If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)

I have not thrown much 900G over the years.

I watched a few videos on the Zen and was impressed.  Pulled the trigger and could not be happier.  The Zen blends wet dry so good its unreal.

Its more angular than the Axiom Pearl / Idol Synergy but not to the point its uncontrolable.   House shot killer is what it is....

Eon was clean through the front and smooth overall. Zen is special. Rolls very nice and has a unique motion. I would agree that it does fill a void left by the Truth Pearl. It doesn't look like a typical pearl with a long/strong - hockey stick motion, but seems to roll more like a polished solid. Could be due to the S77R cover. It doesn't want to fly off of the dry, but still has a good amount of recovery for mistakes. Either way it is a solid performer and a smart choice to add to your bag.

A partner of mine shot a 789 set in Pennsylvania last night!

His last two games were 259-289 with the Zen!! He is absolutely raving about this ball!

Loves it!
