So I guess I am a little torn with this ball. While it does have a very strong, and controllable motion (and seems to bridge the gap between traditional urethane and reactive) I'm finding that a decent amount of up front volume is still necessary (at least for me) to make this ball perform at its best. I've used it on a dried up THS and the coverstock wanted to read the heads very, very quickly and if my projection was a little inside (2 pin leave if I didn't get right of the puddle) or outside (instant hook and difficulty with continuation) the reaction was spotty. That being said, on shots that were thrown well you could see the urethane type reaction (very rolly down lane) and the pocket was able to be controlled. I can see this ball actually being useful for high rev players on fresh THS patterns or shorter sport patterns with decent up front oil volume. This is definitely a "super charged" urethane ball.

Review:
The S28 blended pearl coverstock features 70% reactive and 30% traditional urethane.  Use the Badger Infused on dry lanes where traditional urethane is not getting the job done and where reactive pearls do not provide the control needed to manage the pocket.

The Badger Infused is designed for shorter oil patterns, short sport patterns and can also be used on house conditions where over/under is the tendency.  The Badger Infused will allow you to move inside compared to previous offerings in urethane lines.  Traditionally, straight up the boards may have been the only option available and ball shape was limited to maximize pin carry potential. 

What has impressed me the most is that I was able to play more inside boards and as the lanes transitioned a bit, I was able to continue to move inside and continue to see shape down lane. The best way to describe the Badger Infused is a "slow rolling badger", which is exactly the type of reaction a player desires out of a ball when a lot of friction is in front of the bowler.

Also, as a side note. During tradeshow season we saw alot of ball testers during the demo days use the Badger Infused.  After a large number of games were bowled the Badger Infused allowed bowlers to stay in play regardless of the type of bowler rolling the ball.  In addition, alot of testers that saw overreactions with pearls early on liked the blend the Infused offered.

The Badger Infused definitely has a space in the bag for shorter and high friction patterns.  If you haven't jumped into urethane or dislike overreaction in pearl lines or simply looking for a urethane "look and feel" with some extra features you'll be happy with this one.  Be sure to try out a Badger Infused today! Urethane? Me? With the Badger Infused 70/30, HECK YA! This ball brought a new eye opening dimension to my arsenal. Let’s get to the details of why!
Let’s start with the Lacerate Symmetric Core.  Like the White Hot Badger, the two piece core design is smooth through the heads allowing it to retain a lot of energy down lane where it explodes at the breakpoint. I enjoyed the strong, fierce change in direction!

The 70/30 blended S28 Pearl Coverstock to me is a whole new animal!  WOW! On a fresh THS, I was able to play 5 while everyone else was at 10, allowing me a “shim” line all night long. When everyone started migrated in, beyond their comfort zones, I was able to simply move evenly (2+2) left and continued with similar ball motion all night.

In late night, burnt lane conditions, wow did I have fun!  The urethane blended the heads smoothly and the reactive allowed me to move in and comfortably “swing” the lane a bit.  Being mostly a “down and in” player, this allowed me to go places I wouldn’t normally venture and yes, it was FUN!

On a short oil pattern the Badger Infused 70/30 easily kept me in play!  It gave me predictability I could count on and hitting power to help pin carry from those light swirling hits or those heavy head pin shots that  normally would leave you stranded!  I finally found a comfort zone on short patterns! I found it with the Badger Infused!

My conclusion to the Badger Infused 70/30 is it has a genuine place in my arsenal and for a LONG TIME!  For a down and in, rev challenged player, to have this much comfortable versatility and predictability in different lane conditions is fantastic.  The Badger Infused 70/30 clearly helped advanced my game!
