When i got my Break Outs in the mail i didnt know what to expect so I put my favorite drilling on it. Pin down below ring finger, cg stacked and mass bias 45 degrees. My PAP is 4-3/4" an 1" up. Ball speed is around 19mph.

I first threw this ball on a typical house pattern and left the ball surface as it came out of the box. It gave me a very strong roll and a strong, continuous motion on the back end portion of the lane. When i moved into the oil it still read the lane atrong and the carry was still very good.

I think this is one of the best balls ive thrown in a long time and look forward to drilling a few more very soon. This ball strikes alot.

Drilled 4.75 x 35 VAL x 65 Drill Angle which places the pin over ring finger and Mass Bias next to thumb about 1" away.  Ball used second shift anvilane house with good oil inside with track going away (we bowl second shift).

221-258-226.  

Reaction: Good mid lane roll and defined continuation for sure.  As long as I kept the ball in some head oil the ball cornered with angular motion carrying fine with very little deflection (split 8-9 most of the night on pocket exit).  If I hit dry to early it was smoother and left a few corners as i got deeper for three game league x 4 bowlers per team.
 
Comparing to other Global balls this one is earlier than Break Point Pearl with same drilling and therefore not a flippy (BPP is mostly always flippy).  Ball will more than likely handle more overall oil than BBPearl and Lunatic.

I have a Break Point but complete different drill so to compare is not fair.

On a scale 1(weak/drier lanes) - 6 (stronger/oilier lanes) Break Point Pearl is 3.75.

On a scale 1(weak/drier lanes) - 6 (stronger/oilier lanes) Break Out is a 4.

WOW ball is great for anyone looking for a solid coverstock ball with an agular ball motion.  drilled pin over fingers cg stacked and MB just to the right of thumb with weight hole in between q3-q4 box finish.  Ball is angular on medium and oily conditions.  I use it when the lanes start to carry down and i need something to cut through the carry down.  On the fresh patterns ball is way too much for me because as soon as it hits the back end it is left.  Dry lanes it is ok because i can get it the gutter and know it will come back.
In my current line up it is my heavy oiler

My profile: speed 14-16mph, power stroker rt hand.

Lane surface, wood, overlays and synthetic.

Drilling: 5 X 3 pin up, box and polish

The release of the Break Out or re-release of the Original Break is just that AND a little more.

Drilled this one 5 by 3 pin up.  Ball at 4000 abralon but looks duller than that.  Had a nice big pin and good top weight on the ball which works well for my style.  Out of the box the ball has more midlane and a touch more tilt on the back than the Original Break did for me.  This was a pleasant surprise taking nothing away from the Original.  I could use the ball on some oily patterns.  Nice rev in the midlane and hard flip off the dry.  If I kept it tight in the oil it just roared.  Sent wide with my speed it had a tendency to hook out which hurt my carry a little.  Took it to the spinner and added a little Secret Sauce to the cover and now I had a ball I could really open the lane up with!  Surprising backend, nice read in the midlane.  The ball can be sent wide of mark - you'll get it back to the pocket trust me.  It's like a supped up version of the Original.

Excellent benchmark ball, can adjust the cover to match lane condition and style.  Thanks to Eric and 900 Global for bringing back a monster even better than before.

Pin under ring finger, cg slightly kicked out to the right, MB under thumb and about 3/4" off center.  OOB surface w/ light polish.

I was amazed when I first threw this ball.  It absolutely destroys the rack.  The pins seem to explode when it enters the pocket. Its sort of a does everything really well ball.  It rolls in oil while getting down the lane fairly easily and makes a decisive move to the hole.  If you love the 900 Global equipment and do not have this ball, run to your pro shop and get one.  If you don't have a 900 Global ball, what is wrong with you?

This is the kind of ball that the people you are bowling with ask you about all night as you are destroying them, lol.

If you liked the original black Break, you will love this ball! The Break Out is one of the first balls that I have three drilled all of which have different pin configurations. They all react differently on the lane but all with the end result of may strikes. This is the first ball I use and I hate to put it away.  This ball is a sleeper. This ball is a great addition to anyones arsenal.

Expectations / Reaction
This was my first 900 global ball and I am very impressed with the release. The break out is a strong arching solid benchmark ball that can be used to attack a variety of conditions. The cover stock is extremely versatile and can be adjusted from polishing it to create easier length with a quick responding hard arching backend to dulling it up to handle just about any amount of oil while still offering a good amount of backed reaction. This ball is an extremely versatile release that can easily find a place in just about anyone’s bag. The surface is extremely versatile and the ball motion is strong and predictable. It is reminiscent of the original black widow with updated performance to handle today’s lane conditions.

My specs: Right handed stroker. Med Rev's (about 300 rpm) and med. ball speed. My PAP is 5 1/2" X 1/2" up.  THS league average 220.

Ball specs:  15#, pin-out 3".  Top wt. 3.5 oz.  Drilled 5" pin to PAP, 5" CG to pin.

I got this ball last spring through the BTM "Super School" that I attended in Las Vegas, and was able to throw quite a few games at the end of last league season, and the beginning of this one.  

The league house shot is a 41' THS, medium volume, around 24 mL.   Its been the first ball out of the bag on the fresh league shot since I drilled it.   This ball has been probably the versatile ball I have ever thrown (toss up with the Cell Pearl).  Great benchmark ball. I have found the ball to be extremely forgiving to small variations in release, and ball speed, which of course translates to great scoring.  The ball just doesn't seem to punish you that often for a shot that's a bit off.  For me, this is not a "go long" ball, but instead picks up strongly in mid-lane, and strong continuation on the back end.  Carry, as with most ball these days, is excellent.

This not a light volume, dry lane ball.  With its mid-lane pick-up and aggressive roll, I do find the ball can start to check up too early if head oil is too light, or starts to break down, and needs to get put away.    As a benchmark ball for a wide variety of medium through medium-heavy oil conditions its a "can't go wrong" choice though. Highly recommended.

wow! This ball is a ton of fun. I can use this ball on next to anything from house to sport/pba patterns of all kinds. This ball is so easy to control and so strong in the backend. This ball is unique to me because at my 4000 or 2000 surface this ball still clears the heads very well and produce a very strong finish on the backend on virtually any pattern im on. If I am ever on a pattern that I am lost or am having issues with, the break out or the favorite are there to save the day.

There is nothing bad I could say about the Break Out. I have said this many times on posts but if this is not the best ball I have rolled it is in the top 3. I am a tweener by description but when rolling the ball right have above average rev rate and speed in the 15 to 16 mph typically. Ball is extremely versatile and coverstock takes surface adjustments extremely well also. Mine came with 2 3/4 oz. of top weight and 2 1/2 pin. Drilled it pin down located beneath the ring finger. This placed the pin a 4 1/2" from my PAP. I located the MB on the VAL. I keep it polished with Black Magic and at times will add a light scuff with white scotchbrite. I have used it on multiple conditions from different THS shots, PBA Cheetah to the 2010 Nationals. On fresh house conditions with a reasonable volume it is the first ball out of the bag and can adjust hand positions to create a smooth arc or have moved deep and snapped it off the break point. On the Cheetah I used the Break Out for the first 5 games with great success. Just keep the hand under the ball and created more roll. The 2010 Nat's I had taken it with a 2000 surface and it was way too strong for the pair we caught in team. Polished it for D/S and had some success early but needed a longer pin so had to switch to something different pretty quick. I have recommended this one as first choice if looking to try a 900. Now that it is being fazed out of the line up, only means pick one up from the pro shops or just pick up The Eagle which is the Break Out with a purple coverstock.


 
There is nothing that I dislike about this ball unless it is too often when we travel the lanes are too dry to use it. I still pull it out to get a read on the lanes and adjust from there.
