LANE CONDITION Med dry to dry
Volume: light
Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): Broken down house shot
Likes: Very smooth rolling ball. Won't jump when it hits dry. Very similar to the Break
Dislikes: None does exactly what I bought it for. When straighter is better conditions warrant or when everything else is jumping this ball is a savior.

COMMENTS
The favorite easily lived up to its name. This ball tends to be one of the first balls out of my bag as a benchmark ball to see what the lanes are doing thanks to this balls easy predictable read. This ball was very easy to drill for myself and customers and it provides plenty of hook and has a very nice retro look appeal. All around it is one of my favorite balls.
After being on Hammer staff for 9 years. I was anxiously awaiting the chance to throw some different cores and covers. My first chance was this past weekend in a PBA regional event on Viper at South Point Las Vegas. The Favorite was the first ball out of the bag. This let me smooth off the backend reaction to make it more readable and predictable on the shorter pattern. As the lanes broke down and i had to chase them further in. The Favorite still had more than enough pop to it in the back end. Sunday the pattern played further right as during matchplay you get to play the pattern as opposed to the field and what they are doing the lanes. The Favorite was still the ball of choice as it allowed me to keep my angles narrow. The ball still cleared the front very easily and smoothed off the backend once again . This will definitely be the first ball out my bag for now on. The Favorite gives you a gread read of the lanes. The ball goes through the pins exactly how you want a ball to. It finishes over the 8 pin spot repeatedly . The name for this ball fits perfectly. Thanks to Eric Thomas and 900 Global for all the help.
