drilled this ball pin over cg kicked right of center grip no x hole needed oob cover stock
On a fresh house shot this ball is very clean up the lane with a nice strong move to the pocket i was able to move right and play up the 7 board as well as move in and play 25 to 10 with this ball. this ball has very good carry and is pretty forgiving on a fresh shot you can miss out or in a couple boards and get away with it(not like on a normal house shot you cant anyway) but you dont give up the carry much with this ball. I may try it on some cover adjustments on this ball but it is pretty solid out the box

Lane surface, wood, overlays and synthetic.

Drilling: 4 x 3 pin up, box finish, polished

The Maniac is a surprise ball for me.  Didn't know what to expect from this early release and after trying it out - it hooks.  The one I drilled had a longer pin about 3.5" out so we decided to drill about a 4" pin for my roll.  Pin up about 11:30, cg swung out of palm, small weight hole.  Well out of the box - forget it!  It hooked too much for me to judge on a normal league night so I first threw some hand polish on it, still too much - too early and too much late.  Then I took it to the Luster King(I still love a machine polish on an aggressive ball) I still had to be deeper than I expected but I could at least get a read on the ball.  It rolls hard in the midlane and on the backend.  For me I have throw this one hard and tight for it to hold it's revs and carry.  For being aggressive it still is easy to read off the breakpoint - just a HARD arc.  The S45 is either more aggressive than I thought it would be or this new core is a keeper!  Now I took it to 2000 abralon and polished it and it really is a nice medium to heavy ball for me.

This is a bang for the buck ball.  Heavier oil ball for a smaller price tag!  Great addition to the line, give it a try.

MY 15LB MANIAC IS DRILLED PIN ABOVE BRIDGE AND CG 1" BELOW MIDLIN ON MY GRIPLINE. A VERY STABLE DRILLING.

FOR ME THIS BALL OUT OF BOX IS VERY OVER/UNDER. ALMOST HITS TOO HARD AND LEAVES ALOT OF BACK ROW PINS. IM GOING TO POLISH THIS BADBOY UP AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. OVERALL A 6/10 RIGHT NOW.

specs before drilling 15lb 3 oz top weight 3 oz 4 inch pin

Ball is drilled 5 x 3 1/2 pin up. After reading what people had to say about this ball i took the surface to 3000 grit with a Valentino pad and added snake oil. Thwe ball has a balance hole slightly down on the VAL.  Even polished this ball handles a fair amount of oil with no loss of hitting power. It reads the mids and has a smooth arcing motion to the pocket with strong continuation through the pin deck. I have been able to play on medium to medium heavy at this surface in both centers i bowl in. This ball exhibits exceptional control and predictability. Another GREAT ball from 900 global

And that is true the ball does REVS-UP and reads the mid well
I Like the look of  this weight Block and the hitting power
I Must Say That:
Box Finish it can become very Over/Under on most condition for some  rolls Patterns
On Fresh oiled lane ( heavy Oil)  The Maniac can loses some carry  due to the jerk  from Sanded  Reactive Coverstock.
Remember roll Pattern varies
Adjusting the Coverstock
Sand with 2000 abralon pad  and polished the Maniac becomes an Medium to Medium-Heavy oiled Bomb,
The Maniac exhibits exceptional control and predictability.
 A Benchmark type ball  that is  definitely be a good over all  choose
When Used in it’s proper aspect.
Even Polished this ball handles a fair amount of oil with out a loss of hitting power,
It reads the mid-lane  well and has a continued arcing  and Continuation traction through the Pocket thru the Pin  deck  which is always a plus.
The Maniac has very good carry and is some-what forgiving.

We Have A  Winner and a must go too.

Pin above ring finger 2" mb in the strong position... this is the benchmark ball always the first ball out of the back. throwing in the oil made a strong move continuing into the pocket if i sent it to the dry it jumped through the nose I have yet to play with the cover for right now keeping it box finish. I would recommend this ball to everyone. I have yet to roll this ball on any type of tournament shot but overall a great ball and needs to be in your bag!
