The Ordnance mid performance bowling ball is a great baseline ball. This ball contains the low RG and medium differential Shrapnel Symmetric core which is wrapped in the S70 Solid coverstock. The core provides fast revs and controlled motion on the backend. This ball provides the ideal combination of length and friction response in medium to medium/heavy lane conditions.

Color: Sky Blue/Midnight Blue

Drilling pattern: 78 x 3.75 x 70
Pin placement: below ring finger

The Ordnance will be the first ball out of my bag regardless of oil pattern. It has an early, yet continuous motion, and is incredibly predictable. I used my old symmetrical solids (Chemical X, X, and X2) because they gave me unrivaled predictability and the Ordnance seems to be next in line and seems to accomplish that task very nicely. I've only used it on a THS so far but I can say with relative certainty this ball will be great for both house shots and more difficult patterns due to the core strength and ball motion. Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this one. I also dig the blue/black color scheme.

A new Symmetric Solid for Medium to Medium/Heavy oil conditions. The Shrapnel weight block and proven S70 coverstock creates a combination that makes the Ordnance an easy choice to be the baseline/benchmark ball first out of any bowlers bag. It is very stable with a controlled motion off the end of the pattern with the perfect balance of length and responsiveness to friction.

It is a must have!! I love this ball because no matter where I go it is my first ball out of my bag, and within 3-4 shots I know if I can go with it and follow the transition or go to something else pretty quickly. Great Benchmark ball for anyone and definitely myself.

The 900 Global Ordnance

The Ordnance, a true benchmark out of the bag first ball.
It carries the infamous S70 solid cover, my favorite cover for years as well as pearl.
Tournament play, League play and practice, the Ordnance solid comes out first and many times it stays on the lane. The one word for this ball is control. You can get the perfect read off of the Ordnance on any lane condition. VLS and other factors plus my 16mph ball speed, here is my layout Pin to Pap 3" Psa to Pap 5.75" and Pin Buffer 1.75". This ball burns energy very slowly, hits very hard at the back. If you need a benchmark ball get this one.

Review
The Ordnance solid is quickly grabbing attention within the bowling industry this year as the benchmark ball of choice. If you are interested in a ball for multiple THS and sport patterns the Ordnance is an excellent choice. One great feature of the of the Ordnance is it is extremely forgiving off the spot and will continue to drive through the pocket with good carry potential.  I have used the solid on medium to heavier patterns without altering the surface.  This one will perform well in sport condition situations where backends are sharp and control is key to score well.  Be sure to grab one today!

This is a benchmark house shot bowling ball to have in your bag. I start with this, if it starts to hook a little early...I grab the Ordnance Pearl. What a great combo. Rolls awesome and very nice indeed! Pretty impressed. Thinking once it gets a little lane shine on it, it might react a bit more on the back end. Time will tell.

LANE CONDITION

The ordnance is easily the first ball of my bag every time I enter a bowling alley. Its early rolling, predictable, and smooth motion makes it the perfect choice for fresh oil conditions. As a current collegiate player, I always look for pieces of equipment that allow for maintainability of the pocket on the toughest of conditions and this ball does so easily. Can't wait to bring this piece into the upcoming season.
