I got my first extended look at the SUBLIME this weekend at our local association Masters tournament. It was a 5-game qualifier on a low volume modified house pattern. I used the SUBLIME all 5 games and got to +150 which was just short of cashing (scores were VERY HIGH). However, speaking of ball reaction, I could not have been happier. Kept this ball at box finish (Reacta Gloss) and it did a great job of pushing through the puddle in the middle of the lane and making a strong, controlled move off the dry. This ball has continuation unlike anything I’ve seen in a long time. The pin action was outstanding to see with some of my only leaves being a couple solid 9’s, upper deck 7’s, and wrap 10’s. I put this drilling pattern on due to the lower RG of this ball as I wanted to insure I could get the ball down lane and it performed as expected. My only recommendation would be to make sure there is some dry to throw the ball too. The coverstock isn’t quite strong enough, in my opinion, to be able to play on massive amounts of oil. I had a couple shots that I badly pulled into the oil and it struggled to make it up the hill. Any shot that I projected correctly to the dry, the ball was outstanding.

The all new 900 Global Sublime is money! This ball is quickly becoming one of my favorites. The sublime features the Reserve Blend 802 Hybrid Cover, finished with Reacta Gloss wrapped around the all new Immersed Symmetric A.I. Core. This ball is very special, I feel that the Sublime encompasses all of the best parts of Zen and adds to it! This ball has a similar shape, but it digs in and corners a little more down lane. I think that those that like the Zen can definitely stick with it, but if you liked the Zen, but you wanted a little more then look no further than the Sublime. The Sublime has already created a ton of buzz across the country and I have no doubt that it will continue its success! Personally I have bowled two sets with this ball and I am averaging 261 (772-794). The sublime will be in my bag for a long time, you need to go out and get yours today! #Sublimeballgood

Sam Cooper Roto Grip Amateur staffer. Layout 50x5.5x35. New Immersed AI core technology. Wrapped in the new 802 Reserve Blend Hybrid cover. To make up that cover you have two parts Wolverine DM and one part Reality. I first tried this ball out of box and I saw quickly that I needed to take the shine off the ball. I hit it with a beat up 2000 pad then we were in business. Not only do I really like the colors of this ball but the mid-lane and continuation of the ball is fun to watch.
For me in my bag this ball fits right under a Storm Summit and right above a Zen Gold Label. The Sublime will come with me both to league and tournaments it is just that good of a bowling ball. Sublime has a big engine with a .056 diff and with the two parts pearl cover it gets through the fronts easier than a Summit but the mid-lane is strong from the Sublime. Then the reaction shape is a strong arc into the pins it is almost OG Zen like just not as forward. The power at the pins with the Sublime and the AI core is noticeable. I said this after throwing this ball a few times that it was a shame this came out so late in the year because it had a strong chance to be ball of the year!

The New Sublime from 900 Global is a powerhouse! The Immersed Symmetric core is the first Global ball to utilize Storm's A.I. Core technology. This powerful fast revving core is paired with a Polished Hybrid cover called Reserve Blend 802. The resulting combo creates alot of hook.
I tested the Sublime on my local house pattern and the first thing that I noticed was how much this ball saw the mid-lane. I was very surprised to see a polished ball see the fronts so much. I had thrown Urethane to start the night and the backends had tightened up, so I thought I'd try the Sublime to get it off the back-end a little harder. I immediately had to take a big step left. The sublime will overpower a tight lane like no other polished ball on the market.
In subsequent weeks I've had a bit more trouble getting to use it in league play. Our center has a lot of early friction and I haven't encountered the lanes being as tight as that first week. The fronts tend to burn pretty fast so the early motion of the Sublime on this condition as taken it a bit out of play for me with my lower ball speed. However for players with more ball speed and less hand I think this ball is going to be very useful. I don't feel they will have to wait to get into this ball despite it's polished finish and that they will be able to stay with it long through the night.

The 900 Global Sublime, with the new 802 Reserve Blend hybrid coverstock and my 4.5 x 3 x 2.5 layout gives me a STRONG motion front to back on fresh THS. My RPM is about 470 and my speed averages around 16.4 MPH, and I have yet to find a situation where I am able to have closed angles with this ball. I can pretty much go as far left, and open my angles as wide as my imagination will allow me to, and I'm still in the pocket. It's truly one of the strongest pearls I've ever thrown. For me, it is stronger than the original Zen by about two arrows. It's just not in the same ballpark strength-wise. I see this ball being ideal for speed-dominant players who need something that will pick up, or anyone else who needs a little help from the core/cover, OR people who like to see lots of shape throughout the entire lane. I also compared this to the Zen Gold Label, and the Gold Label was cleaner than both the Sublime and the Zen, by a total of about 14-15 boards at the arrows. If you are looking for a pearl with a VERY large footprint, the Sublime is going to be your go-to.

I drilled my 900 Global Sublime at a 5 x 4 x 1.5. This is a DA layout of 50 x 5 x 22. I did take it down to 2000 trucut pads which is like 1500 abralon as the trucut pads really leave a very dull surface on the ball. The cover has worked itself back up to about 3500 smooth but not shiny as the cover is doing a good job of not lane shining quickly. I have thrown it about 10 games since I hit the cover so probably due for another 3000 Tru Cut touch up.
I have thrown this on a New Years Day sweeper and league conditions. The NYD event was a dual pattern with 44'-26.5 mls on left lanes and 47'-31 mls on the right lane. The SUBLIME was good on both lanes as I could play really tight on the higher volume lane and get enough roll in the back to carry. I had to open up my angle on the left lane more for the fresher surface adjustment. At some point, I had to get out of the SUBLIME as the surface was too early once the lanes got beat up. In league, this ball has looked good also. I can take my hand out of it and just try to roll the ball a little more end over end and get the ball to hook and "lay" off the friction right at the pocket. I can also throw my normal rev rate and speed and get it back and have it tumble forward at the break.
Summary is this is a very good release from 900 Global especially with the other balls in their line. The ZEN GOLD LABEL is about a 4/2 adjustment when the SUBLIME is getting too forward at the break or bogging down trying to get back when my angles get too open. I can also "ball up" with an ETERNITY PI to get more earlier read. This might be a good one for me to drill a second one up with a 5.5 x 4 x 2.5 layout to bridge any gap to the ZEN GOLD LABEL.

I just recently added this ball to my new arsenal and drilled in similar to the Absolute Power. When comparing this ball against the absolute power, I found that it was longer, as the cover and finish would dictate, and with the low pin layout was still smooth motion to the pocket. I would see this ball being really good on most house shots, and a great piece to transition to after the Absolute Power is no longer able to get through the pins effectively.
On the house pattern, I was able to keep my angles in front of me and see good reaction but to me this ball really shines when you can open the angles up and throw it away from you. I did not have any issues with the ball wanting to recover and retain energy going through the pins.

Sublime is the introduction of the 802 coverstock formula, and this ball falls in line with the Zen as far as hook potential. However, the cover of the Sublime is quite a bit stronger, and the core seems to rev up noticeably sooner than that of the Zen. Sublime features A.I. core technology, which for me creates a unique shape characterized by a strong, early revving look in the midlane and a relentlessly continous backend motion that is really smooth but also never stops driving. It's almost paradoxical for the core to engage so early and rev up so strongly, while still storing energy and not deflecting. The only thing this ball is not ideal for is excessive friction in the front part of the lane. When i need a big, cleaner cover symmetrical, the Zen has been my go-to because the core is uniquely early for a pearl symmetrical. The Sublime takes this idea one step further my applying technology resulting in an even more aggressive core, and a healthy step up in terms of coverstock strength as well. This is one of those smooth-but-clean-enough house shot killer-type balls that you do NOT want to miss out on!

With the discontinuation of my favorite ball, the Roto Grip Hyped Hybrid, I have been looking for the “peace of mind” reliable hybrid piece to fill in my bag. I bowl mainly on Brunswick and HPL lane panels and both centers use what I feel to be a heavier volume house pattern than other places I bowl as well. The Sublime overall length all ball motion was a tick longer than the Hyped Hybrid, but the back-end reaction was stronger and more powerful through the pin deck. With the first in the 900 Global brand, the barbell shaped core with more weight on the top and bottom of the core and with the A.I. technology wrapped around the core, the hitting and torque it provides is amazing when it comes to pin carry. I took a worn 4000 grit pad and hand sanded it to change the cover texture just enough to allow the Sublime to have a similar overall ball motion like my Hyped Hybrids. The Sublime will be getting plenty of use over the next several months. Maybe I can knock out a few award scores with the Sublime like I did in the past with the Roto Grip Hyped Hybrid. The Sublime is a hybrid symmetrical ball that I see working best on medium to med-dry conditions. The 802 hybrid cover on the Sublime makes it feel more like a pearl than a hybrid, because it has not problem clearing the front part of the lane. The low rg, high diff core compliments the clean cover very well, because once it starts seeing some friction it creates a strong medium-quick response motion. I have found that the Sublime is best when the lanes transition past big solid balls like the Reality or Phase 2. It allows me to get more shape without overshooting the break point down lane.

I drilled the Sublime to transition off an Eternity PI drilled with the same layout. Bowling on very wet/dry conditions I’d wanted the stronger asymmetrical to help blend that out. Loved the motion, but rarely get through more than one game with the PI. That’s where the Sublime was to come in. However, I got a much stronger motion off the spot than anticipated. I’m going to need a little more in the fronts to get it down the lane with my slower ball speed. For those with higher rev rates, I can see this one going all the way around the lane. This ball has no trouble getting around the corner. If you’re looking for something symmetrical with AI technology don’t forget to look at this one. I think many will be pleased with a stronger overall motion than anticipated. This ball will get use but might be a bit more conditional for me.

The all-new Sublime brings A.I. (Amplified Inertia) Core technology to the 900 Global line up. This new core technology helps to lower the RG and increase the differential, thus making the ball rev quickly and creating more fresh-surface contact with the lane. Furthermore, this new core is paired with the Reserve Blend 802 Hybrid Cover, which features a mix of the solid cover from the Reality and the pearl cover from the Wolverine Dark Moss. All told, this creates a very versatile ball that can be used on a variety of lane conditions.
For the Sublime, I went with a layout that puts the pin in my ring finger after drilling; basically, it splits the difference between a pin-up and pin-down layout for me. I also took a little bit of shine off by lightly scuffing the surface with a 3000-grit Abralon pad as I’ve found the Reacta Gloss finish can be a bit too shiny for my liking. I have loved everything I’ve seen out of the Sublime thus far! The fast-revving action reminds me a lot of the original Zen, but the Sublime gets further down the lane and has much more shape on the backend, and continuation through the pins is awesome. Where the Zen struggled a bit when you moved too far left (for a righty), the Sublime has no issues coming around the corner. I can certainly see the Sublime being in play on all but the heaviest/longest of oil conditions.
The Sublime is a great compliment to the 900 Global Eternity Pi and Xponent – where those 2 balls can be used on the fresh, the Sublime is the perfect transition ball to go to after either of those balls start to lose their reaction. I really believe this is a ball that can, and should, have a spot in everyone’s bowling bag for tournament and league bowlers alike. The Sublime is a unique combination of midlane read, length, and backend reaction that will be a staple in my bag for the foreseeable future.

The Sublime by 900 Global has the reserve blend 802 hybrid cover stock, finished with Reacta Gloss. This is a symmetrical ball, with a medium/high flare potential in the 900 global, 800 line of bowling balls. The box finish is Reacta gloss, but, as always, the surface can be altered to suit a variety of lane conditions. It is a very attractive neon purple/amber/black color combo.
I have used the Sublime on a 40 ft. kegel house pattern, and a variety of modified house patterns in different houses.
I’ve thrown the Sublime at the Reacta Gloss box finish, and have made some surface changes along the way. I’ve found, for me, changing the surface to 1000/2000 grit abralon really smooths out the reaction, which is what I was looking for in my arsenal. I’ve found this to be a good benchmark, “go to” ball when I start to see the transition. The Sublime is strong through the pins, when the lanes starts to dry up. This ball continues through the pins really well, again, when the lanes start to dry out.
The Sublime definitely has a spot in my arsenal. It gets through the heads cleanly and makes a nice smooth turn down lane. I highly recommend the Sublime if you’re looking for a nice mid range ball in your bag. The Sublime fits in between the Magic Gem and the Exotic Gem in my arsenal. I highly recommend this ball if you’re looking for a nice mid range ball .

The new ball from 900 Global is the Sublime. The Sublime is the first 900 Global ball to use the new AI technology. Also using all new Core and new Reserve Blend 802 hybrid Cover. I drilled mine 4.25 x 4 x 2 pin up. This ball is very good, and matches up with my ball roll real well. I find the reaction as a little early and a little downlane. Just what you would think from an Hybird cover. The Sublime is a little forward rolling for me off of the breakpoint for me. But it carries unbelievable for me on house shots and medium Sport patterns. (AI helps) I have drilled several for customers at the shop, 2 handers, tweeners and down and in players. All like the reaction, its just different roll but in a very good way. They all mentioned to me its a unique roll. Something fits very well in any bowlers arsenal.

The Sublime adds a unique shape to the 900 Global lineup – a smooth, strong, yet clean reaction that is very much at home on medium-dry to medium-heavy oil conditions. It ignores the heads but has a strong arcing reaction that starts in the early midlane and continues through the pindeck. The smoother nature of the Sublime lends it to being less oil sensitive than other medium-oil bowling balls that are more skid-flip. Bowling balls such as the Xponent Pearl or Summit Peak are cleaner and flippier, and are better for medium-dry to purely medium oil conditions, but are more sensitive to oil. Those balls are great choices to go to after the Sublime.

Looking for a great-looking ball with a mid-lane roll that can pack a punch when it hits the pins? Look no further than Sublime from 900 Global. This ball being a hybrid offers a clean through the fronts with a strong roll in the mid-lane while providing plenty of pop on the back end. I have changed the surface on this ball several times and have enjoyed the versatility. Generally, I do not match up very well with Hybrid cover stocks, but with the combination of the new AI core technology and the new hybrid cover stock blend I find this ball as one of the first out of my bag depending on the lane conditions I am bowling on. Make sure you snag one of these beasts.

The new 900 Global Sublime is the first 900 Global ball to feature the A.I. core technology. The Immersed Symmetric A.I. core is wrapped in the new Reserve Blend 802 hybrid coverstock. At 15 pounds this ball has a RG of 2.47 and a differential of .056. Drilling this ball 5x4x2 puts the pin above my middle finger and provides additional length through the front part of the lane. The Sublime is a very even reaction type ball. It has a smooth arcing motion on medium to medium-dry lane conditions. The A.I. core technology provides superb hitting power through the pins. This ball can be used on many lane conditions but is best suited for medium volume oil patterns. The Sublime will not be the most hooking ball, or the ball with the sharpest backend, but it will be the ball that gets a lot of use. This is a great benchmark ball with the added bonus of the A.I core. You need to throw this ball to understand just how real the difference in this core technology is. The first Global ball to feature this core, but certainly won’t be the last!

The all new Sublime is the first 900 Global core to feature A.I. Core technology combined with the 802 hybrid cover created a low RG of 2.47 and Differential of 0.053. I tested this ball on a typical house pattern 41 feet. It's my perfect benchmark ball. I had a great look in the track just front of me when I begin the play and when I open my angles up to right and moving my feet left the ball reaction continu to be good without losing striking power. The reacta gloss makes its clean through the front with a great midlane reaction to the pocket. This is a great ball for all levels of bowlers. When I begin to loss power because I'm too on the left part on the lane, I change with the Storm Summit peak without make change and I continu to go left for some more games. the Sublime follow me in all bowling places that I go for sure, league and tournament.

The Sublime is a completely new ball. With A coverstock that is the combination of the S84 Response Solid found on the Reality and the S70 Pearl found on the Wolverine Dark Moss, you get the Reserve Blend 802 Hybrid! The core is the Immersed Symmetric AI core. The combination of core and cover gives you medium/strong reaction that is unique to anything we had in the line. Straight out of the box, I had a lot of over/under with it. It wouldn’t bite in the oil and was too responsive off the friction. I hit it with a 3000 pad and it wasn’t enough. Once I hit it with a 2000 pad it gave me a reaction that I could work better with. The customers that I push this ball for are ones that need a little help with hook. I drilled a few of these for some ladies and they have been VERY successful with it. Because of the lower RG and Increased diff, this ball is perfect for that crowd.

900 Global Sublime Ball Review by PJ Haggerty
The Sublime from 900 Global is one of the newest additions to the Batch 800 Blend and it’s been impressive so far. The R&D experts in Utah created a new Hybrid Cover (Reserve Blend 802) along with a new core (Immersed Symmetric A.I.). This new technology has provided us as players with a sweet rolling symmetrical ball that’s been useful on multiple surfaces and patterns.
I’ve drilled one so far and think it rolls great. It’s mapped out as 5 x 4.5 x 3. This puts the pin above my ring finger and a stacked CG. I also adjusted the surface a bit with a 3000 pad by hand. Because the RG is so low (2.47) and the differential is strong (.056), I wanted to knock the shine off to slow the response time a bit. I bowl in a center that hooks a bunch and sometimes the asymmetrical balls burn up because of too much friction. With the surface at 3000 on the Sublime, it helps not read the front as quick, stores energy, and runs over the 8 pin consistently.
From a lane-play standpoint, I’ve seen this ball be useful for lower-rev players who need a ball to start up but not burn up. They’ve been able to stay in their comfort zone and the Sublime looks great. For the two handers or more rev-dominate players, this ball is perfect for someone who wants to create shape but also a quick response time compared to the Gem, Eternity Pi, or Absolute Power.

The SUBLIME is a ball you use when trying to smooth out down lane reaction and not give up too much power.
Pattern A:
Out of box the SUBLIME actually tricked me at first. Set out on fresh sport. Initially I had over and under, as I searched for a consistent line. Too early or too late was the initial thoughts. Waited for next group to jump in and transition the pattern. This is where the SUBLIME had better results. The pattern hit mid lane friction and the SUBLIME capitalized on the initial pattern transition read, move towards the pins and smoothed out for the finish.
Pattern B:
Out of Box SUBLIME jumped all over this. Initial line was 12-5 and migrated in to finish with 17-10 and 17 to 5. No problems with volume of oil due to two oils used and friction right. Ball control for the pattern was easy. Wasn’t speed sensitive or jumpy off the spot.
Typical house moves on a higher volume than most places. High scores and Big angles.
LOWDOWN: When playing the fresh with SUBLIME play from the right baby swing angles and move in. If high rev player jump in quick. Tweener have the whole right side on house patterns.

I am a higher speed, rev challenged 220-250ish, high tilt, high rotation, and super low track player. I drilled my 900 Global Sublime 5.25 x 3 x 1.75 using Storm VLS and my axis point is 3 ¼ right and 7/8 up. The 900 Global Sublime is a symmetric A.I. Core hybrid that I like for medium to heavy oil conditions. The lower RG, big diff, and medium- high flare potential creates good shape and power through the pins.

The Sublime is an intriguing release from 900 Global that features The Immersed Symmetric A.I. Core and the Reserve Blend 802 Hybrid Cover, finished with Reacta Gloss. I actually think this is a very useful bowling that creates a little bit of a different ball motion.
I drilled my Sublime with my usual pin-down layout: 55 x 4 3/4 x 75. The low RG of this core definitely makes the bowling ball rev-up quite early. However, the cleaner coverstock helps the bowling ball get down the lane easier. My Sublime creates a smooth and pretty “rounded” ball motion that I am able to use on multiple oil patterns. I think the Sublime compares with the Storm Summit Peak with the Sublime being an alternative to the Summit Peak.
I think I will be using my Sublime mainly on medium patterns; especially, on lane surfaces that are very worn, which we see a lot these days. I think this bowling ball can be good during pattern transition when a little bit of a hook-spot develops but you don’t need a smoother reaction of the dry part of the pattern. I can also see the Sublime working well on fresh patterns that have some friction built-in them from the beginning.

The new 900 Global Sublime with its 802 Hybrid blend coverstock is the first Global ball to use Storm's A.I. core technology. The Immersed symmetric A.I. core really gives this ball motion on the backend to open up angles for many styles of bowlers. With my softer speed 14mph I have left the Sumblime's Reacta Gloss cover intact and I have to say this is a powerful ball for my style. I am not only able to square up in heavier patterns but also move into deep angles without any fear of too much skid. Any some have commented its more than the orginal Zen, it is. Its backend motion for me is easily 5-6 boards more than the Zen. Where the Zen had a tendency to go forward the Sublime wants to snap. The positive of free skid from the Reacta Gloss cover knowing this ball is going to read on the backend gives me extreme confidence. It's been a 230-game ball on bad night on the typical house shot. Sublime is a must have for anyone's bag.

The Sublime is a cleaner AI hybrid symmetrical. It’s a great benchmark ball that does a little of everything. The hybrid makes it blendy, the AI makes it blendy but it’s also clean and a good amount of hook downlane. I like my Zen Gold Label but it’s too clean and snappy off the spot. The Sublime is more controlled even though it responds well to medium or light transition. The Sublime is the perfect benchmark AI Hybrid from 900 Global.

With the release of the new Sublime and the removal of the original Zen from the line I was expecting this ball to replace it. The new A.I. technology has been added to the core to have a lower RG and a higher Diff. For my rev rate category the balls are usually earlier and slower down the lane. I decided to try a new layout to help build an arsenal for the PBA 50 patterns so the higher pin buffer lowers the pin to a pin down type of layout for my axis rotation.
The 802 hybrid cover stock with the Reacta Gloss finish made the ball very clean and not as smooth off the dry as I would have liked. I removed the polish with a 2000 abralon to smooth out the shape. Due to the design of the core and the layout I used, the ball seemed confused the more I rolled it. The stronger core made the ball read the lane earlier than I would have liked and the cover looked too weak to play in the oil but too strong to stay in the dry.
I’m noticing with my rev rate category and balls with A.I. core tech I have to use higher pin placements (lower pin buffer) to help the balls get down the lane and react properly off the end of the patterns.
