300 with the Sideways in league last night..
« on: October 22, 2009, 05:23:54 PM »
Well I shot 300 in the last (4th) game of my Thursday night trio late league. I was using the AMF300 Sideways drilled pin above the ring. I used a different ball for the 1st 3 games and switched to the Sideways to start the 4th game and I''m glad I did!! This ball is great for me when the lanes go through transition.

All but 2 of the shots where 10 back. I had a light hit in the 8th and the last ball came in light but was a nice working ball strike. (No brooklyn''''''''s Gary!!)

Thanks To Eric Thomas for the suggestions on how to drill this ball. Also thanks to Kurt Gengelbach, the best ball driller in the DFW area!!

Congrats on the 300.

I am with you Hosel. At first I was having doubts on the ball, at 4000 abralon as I had it at the beginning, it was kinda weak and very over under. When the shot was there is was a monster, when not it ws crap.

I took it to 600 grit sandpaper and polished over top. WOW! What s different ball, definitly a bag worthy ball now. It is like it came to life, in strength and recovery
