LANE CONDITION
Length:this ball is some kind of special I would have to give it the smart ball label....i filed it pin down basically because I was having some trouble on the fresh and the wet dry ...initially I left it at its original cover had no problem clearing the fronts the back end traction was strong yet controllable.as the lanes break down I could move left and maintain that hard arch down lane (normally I would have to just switch balls sure to the ball rolling out) I also used this ball on a paris patern a week later had to break the surface down to 2000 but got great results.......if you are looking for a bowling ball for tournament play this is a great One its strong
Versatile with alot of hitting power......this may very will be the ball that raises eye brows and make people take a serious look at amf ...

#15 Mamba Hybrid
axis point 3 5/8"
tweener, 15mph
Lane Conditions - THS, Sport & Kegel Challenge
Lane Surface - Synthetic, AMF, Brunswick
Surface of bowling ball: Factory/Box
What grit was the surface of the ball? Box, 4000 grit
Likes: True roll, versatile ball on variety of conditions
Dislikes: None so far.
Drilled up the NEW Mmaba Hybrid 5" from PAP, pin up, MB directly under the thumb. Awesome reaction OOB. This Mamba has a touch more control on THS BUT that takes nothing away from it's performance! Ball with 4000 grit finish gives me good skid up front, a little midlance and a hard arc/snap on backend. Let's me stay in track area longer and also gives me the skid pop to move in when lanes break down. Have 4 series with it in league, nothing over 719, nothing under 703. This one is about performing. Like the versatile cover, tried it polished on a 2nd shift condition with good results. More skid, same arc snap. For my slower ball speed this is a use all-the-time ball. Thanks to AMF!!

Length: 40 feet
Volume: light/medium
Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): House Shot
The latest release for the Mamba series is the Mamba Hybrid and it is easily the best one released. At first glance the color scheme of the ball will catch your eye, the purple and black look awesome going down the lane.
When you first look at a ball, a question that is asked is: “What can this ball do?†A better question is: “What can’t this ball do?†You want to play straight up the boards? Done! You want to move in and swing the ball to the dry? Done! This ball has an incredibly strong roll throughout that it keeps the pins low and dancing for your whole league or tournament day.
Without a doubt, I have a new go to ball in my arsenal. If you want a ball that you can play different parts of the lane, and control all of them….get yourself a Mamba Hybrid, you won’t be disappointed!

I drilled this ball pin above the bridge with the mass bias right next to the thumb, giving it a some length down lane with a strong backend. I have thrown this ball in several leagues and its great on the fresh and hits hard and throws the pins around.

Wow! The Mamba Hybrid is the perfect compliment to the Black Mamba and the Green Mamba. This ball really gets down lane with great recovery in the backends. This ball is a new mainstay in the my arsenal.

The New Purple Mamba Hybrid is an eye appealing ball with a monster personality. I drilled the Purple Mamba 4 X 3 exactly like my Green mamba and even with its 4000-grit finish the ball gives me great length with a smooth mid-lane and a good arc/snap movement to the backend. This ball compared to the Green and Black Mambas allows me to play the track area much longer without losing the finish at the back of the lane. I added polish to the ball and it increased the length but retained the same break point shape angle. This ball will compliment any ball speed and rev rate which makes this ball extremely versatile. This ball is a winner from AMF!!!! If you don’t buy this ball your not a winner!!!!!

The New Mamba Hybrid is an eye appealing purple and black color. I drilled the Mamba Hybrid ½ side ½ finger with the pin above the ring finger so the ball gives me great length with a smooth mid-lane and a good arc movement to the backend. This ball compared to the Green Mamba allows me to play the track area allot longer without losing the finish at the back of the lane. I added polish to the ball and it increased the length and gave me a much sharper break point shape. This ball will rev easy in dry or oil which makes it extremely versatile. This ball will be a great addition to any arsenal. JD878

I've only had my Mamba Hybrid for about a week, and all I can say is...WOW. It definitely gets a lot of looks when it hits the lanes. The cover is very forgiving, and the core just absolutely compliments it as well. Not too strong, not too weak for a 4000 neaT pad surface. Very smooth with a predictable arc. Pins can kiss the rack goodbye, because they won't be there to be picked up by it! Since the Black Mamba was a beast, and the Green Mamba was a strong roller, the Mamba Hybrid is the quiet cousin in the corner of the room....until it finds PINS. Likes:I don't know where to begin with the superlatives to describe this ball. It is just flat out awesome. This hybrid coverstock has made this the best mamba yet. This ball keeps the pins low and sends them flying from sideboard to sideboard. I love the shape of this ball as it hits the pins, which I believe has a lot to do with its new hybrid cover. This mamba hybrid definitely has the biggest change of direction of all the mambas yet. In my first nine games bowling on a fresh league pattern I have shot 4-250+ games a 278 and a 268, not too shabby. I layed this one out with a six inch pin and also dirty ragged the cover of ball to get it to save a little more energy. Well done AMF!!

The Mamba Hybrid is the newest high performance ball to be released from AMF. Being that I have thrown both of the previous Mamba line balls I had high hopes for this one. Both of the previous 2 Mambas had pretty strong covers so while they we great on the fresh, I couldn’t throw them past the second game because they would burn up a little early for me. I definitely do not have that problem with this new release. It is MUCH stronger through the pins for me so even when I have to move inside with the Mamba Hybrid this ball drives and the weak 10s are almost non-existent. I have even been keeping this ball in my hand during my 9 o’clock league and have had no problem at all. Thanks AMF for making another outstanding piece of equipment.

Very smooth and controllable. Allows me to open up the lane more than the previous 2 mamba's. Very versatile and allows me to play a variety of angles to the pocket.

This is the first ball out of the when I am bowling league. One of the most versatile balls I have ever thrown. So clean and strong all the way down lane. When it enters the pocket, it keeps the pins so low and just throws them around. This ball is very versatile. I have the same reaction where ever I stand. And it gets stronger off the spot. I haven't had that in a ball in a long time!!!!

Likes:The Mamba Hybrid is so strong it’s sick! I could not believe how much power this ball has. I have my pin in the middle of my span and it gets into a strong early roll. I have had no problem with this ball rolling out when it gets to the pins. If you are looking for a strong ball for oil, this is definitely what you are looking for!

The R/G is great for early roll and strong arc through the pins. The smooth arc allows you to play longer oil patterns with great results. Like this ball on heavier oil house patterns.
Dislikes: soft hit when oil carries down

The Mamba Hybrid Pearl
Layout: 45x 4 1/2x 35
Let me start with this, with the Green Mamba, the Mamba Hybrid Pearl and The Cobra SE AMF has a 3 ball arsenal that is second to none.
The Mamba Hybrid is the natural selection when the Green Mamba isn't getting enough length....either on sport or on house shots. The Mamba Hybrid will be used on heavier mediums through the lighter side of mediums. It finishes more than enough to move in deep with the lanes open up. The angles created from deep lines will suprise you, I have been inside of 30 with my target and got this ball out to 5 down lane and it gets there strong.
Just beware trying to use when there isn't enough oil in the midlane to keep this ball getting down lane. The lower RG core revs up quick, so it will allow you to play straighter lines on higher volumes.
