Description: Shred-IT is our new Hybrid addition to AMF’s High Performance line. The ball utilizes the same exact core shape and dynamics (2.48-.054) as the Shredder but it is now wrapped with a hybrid F-74 cover and finished at 4000 Abralon. The Shred-IT will create more traction for medium to heavy oil conditions, while still maintaining the aggressive movement down lane.

Likes: Shred-It seems to be a rolly version of the AMF Shedder as AMF intended.  Drilled it 45, 4" pin 40, aggressive layout.  OOB had good and bad results.  Real nice on fresh or heavier patterns.  Soon as I was forced in carry would sometimes suffer.  My slower ball speed (14-16mph) needs oil up front for this type of ball/surface.  Has distinct roll pattern, earlier revs and a controllable but hard arc/flip.  Awesome light hit ball, just splashes and throws pins everywhere!  Also carries the high hit well - lots of trip 4's.  Now decided to change surface - I'm in love with 3000 abralon, took to the spinner perpendicular to track at 3000 and a little Secret Sauce.  WOW big difference. 290 game Red pattern first time with the surface change!  Has become a real versatile ball for me.  I cannot normally go straight or play a "stuffer" line just due to my slower speed and early roll I get.  With this one I can jam it with the best of them and sacrifice NO carry whatsoever!  AND I can still get in to lets say 20 and twirl it up with excellent backend and carry results.  Shred-It with its hybrid coverstock and the correct surface prep will work for any style bowler.  This is one to have in the bag!

Dislikes: Needs oil up front OOB finish.

Likes:Love, love, love this ball!!! I have mine drilled with pin up. With the hybrid cover it goes just a little bit longer than an even roll, but not super long. Carry is amazing! 300 in the first week of having it, and in the month that I have owned it I have had 783 and 771. This is my go to ball, for me it doesnt over-react in dry or skid in oil. I think this would be a great piece for any style of bowler.

Love, Love, Love this bowling ball!!! The new Shred-It is an overall amazing bowling ball! The surface allows this ball to get further down the lane, but then have a strong skid/flip backend reaction. This ball is great for opening up the lanes (i.e. stand left and throw right). And it hits like a truck! This type of reaction should be in everyone's bag!!!

I have my ball layed out with my normal layout - pin below my fingers, in the middle of my grip, CG and mass bias kicked out.

Drilled this short pin offering from San Antonio with the pin under the bridge, OOB, no hole (65x4.25x70).  We drilled the fingers a little deeper to give the ball some added dynamics as this was going to be a ball that gave me a little different look on longer, heavier, flatter tournament patterns.  The Hybrid coverstock provided easy length with just enough midlane read and a VERY surprising pop on the backend.  You'll most likely never see a lot of these pills being used.  Pity, 'cause AMF has had some awfully very nice orbs introduced the past few months with little fanfare.
