Attn: fellow bowlers... If you are looking for a great ball... call you local pro shop and get a TNT, NOW!! I have recently drilled up this ball, and this ball impresses me. I don't think you can throw it through the breakpoint at all. This ball gives me a really strong roll to the pocket. Good length for a medium load particle, but stil makes a strong movement in the backends. You can make the transition as the lanes change with this ball. This is not one of those particle balls that bleed or can only play a straighter line. This ball is clean through the heads (as most AMF stuff does), and will not die in the backends. I drilled this ball with the pin below my fingers, CG close to my thumb, and a weight hole drilled in the thumb quadrant of the ball to help it move in the backends. This layout gives me a readable & controlable breakpoint that I can adjust to easily. THIS IS A MUST HAVE BALL FOR ALL BOWLERS!! Strokers & Tweaners can use this ball in the flood as well as the medium conditions. Crankers will love this ball because of the readability this gives us when bowling on the medium/heavy oil & Sport conditions. GET THIS BALL... You won't be disappointed with it. I want to thank Ken Keegan @ K&K Bowling Services in Las Vegas,NV for laying out this ball for me. If you are bowling in the megabucks in Vegas... gotta go to K&K.... they will help you with all of your bowling needs & set you up!!   Off to bowling I go!

Purchased the AMF-Triumph TNT after purchasing a ball for my girlfriend Gina and becoming jealous!  This ball is fantastic, it has a slow hook and finishes beautifully resulting in a strike nearly every time I am even close to the pocket.  The first day I used this ball, I bowled a 223 and 243, keeping in mind my average before this ball was about 155, now it's around 175 and the big games keep coming!

Me:
Poster boy for medium everything. Inverted track 5 1/4 over and 1/4 down. Power tweener.

Ball:
16lbs even after drill with 3.0 tw and 4" pin out. Box finish 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 drilling with weight hole.

Lanes:
Medium-heavy THS pattern on synthetic lanes (fresh oil).

With this layout, the ball clears the heads easily and has a late midlane read with a hard arc towards the pocket. On this pattern, the ball was able to conserve energy through the mid lanes which resulted in exceptional carry at the pocket. I was able to chase the oil throughout the 3 games I bowled with it without any loss or burn out.

Once the lanes dried out, the ball was still hooking, but the carry all but disappeared.

An exceptional ball for me as the reaction remained consistent along with the breakpoint, even when the lanes started to breakdown. Remained me of the old Black Hammers reaction and carry.

Keep looking... I'm sure there's a 300 in one of those balls you keep buying!!

AMF Triumph TNT
Weight: 15lbs
Top weight: 3oz
Pin 2-3 inchs
Drilled: Pin above the bridge and the cg kicked out under the ring finger

I got this ball from a person off this site cheap and decided to punch it up. It was low games (less than 20). I wanted something to replace my Shock Zone because it just had to many games and had been resurfaced a few too many times.

Overall
This ball is flat out clean through the heads no matter how dry the shot got. As I said before I wanted something to replace my Shock Zone, but be more of a rolling backend instead of jerky. This ball did great. It rolls mid-lane and a strong rolling backend. This is one of the few true heavy oil balls I have seen out on the market. I have had gotten to throw 10 games with this ball. Six games on a 50ft flat pattern, and four on a 38ft wall.

50ft flat pattern
I started as I always do standing on board 22 throwing eight at the break point, playing straight up. This ball shot worked well for the pattern. I had a few boards to the left, but little to the right. I shot three games playing this shot 250, 220, 225. I was sitting in third after three. A few people around me were somewhat mentally competent enough to start playing my line and it dried out significantly. Anyone that knows me knows that I like to play straight up. So I moved left to 22 (standing) and 15 at the break point. This shot as well worked and I shot 210, 223, and 207. With some extra oil the breakpoint of this ball was pushed down the lane and it controlled the hook well.

38ft wall shot
On this shot, you have like eight boards either way. I started out unorthodox for me and was swinging the ball. I was standing 40 and breakpoint 6. With this shot I was able to carry the corner pins the best at Miller Time Bowl in Davenport Iowa. I was able to keep that shot for the first four games I went 215 231, 232, 231. I was sitting in good shape and maybe moved left a board or so during those four games (after each game you moved 4-5 pair) During the fifth game the carry had gone away and the shot was starting to tighten up compared to the beginning of the day so I grabbed a different ball and moved right.

Pros:  Great ball for Heavy Oil
Cons:  When they start breaking down put it away

Lane conditions: Synthetics and the oil pattern was the ABC Masters Reno shot.
Bowling Style-RH Stroker, Ball speed 19mph
Drilled pin above Bridge CG about 3 1/2 below and shifted about 1/8 of an inch. No weight hole. Condition used on was the Reno ABC Masters shot. I was playing down the 3 board and this baby would come roaring back. Was very solid in the pocket did not jump on me. Had a really strong arc even with the heavy oil. If you have a oil ball need this should be high up on the list. If the lanes do start to break down though don\'t bother by the third game this ball will start taking off for flight.
